One suggestion that came up on CAG - and sounds plausible to me - during the first part of the promotion, the caps were somewhat hard to find - and perhaps 5,000 people weren't trying every day for DLC - and so it all stacked up and ran into the next day. Maybe, now, we've finally ran out of all that savings.

Just do it early in the day. The last soda codes I drank all went through just now. I've only gotten losses in the afternoon and later in the day. If you lose once just wait for the next day and try to enter as early in the day as possible to be one of the 5k for the day.

I've discovered that after giving up on drinking sodas for so long, drinking them now makes me burp. A lot. This never used to happen

Same here. Plus I'm getting acne again. I'm not buying anymore. Cheap points aren't worth me gaining weight, getting zits and rotting my teeth. (speaking of which, I need to brush them).

Ditto. My girlfriends been collecting caps for me, from her sisters and people at her job. Hell i almost asked this customer just a few mins ago if i could have his pop-top.. but i refrained. Speaking of teeth, time to schedule an appointment with the dentist now that I've get dental insurance!

Lucky, my security job cut their insurance just before they hired me.

I do ask customers if I can have their caps if they are finishing their drinks there. I also pick then out of the trash at the end of the night.

You need to click on the icon in the bottom left. You've likely been hitting the Wii system icon immediately above (which enters you to win a Rock Band set).

Anyone enter any codes lately? I recently got a DSi and I need to stock up on points. What's the current win ratio? Does it really matter if you enter the codes early in the day?

Yes. Because it's basically a first come first served type of thing. You start losing once the 5k mark is hit so earlier is better.

Not true. I just went through and redeemed about 30 caps - won about 15 or so, mixed wins and losses.

For anyone wondering:
I've entered 236 codes at the RB/Pepsi site. 72 of those were purchased from eBay at 50 cents each. Several of these have been given to me free from co-workers. One guy, who's been giving me plenty, hadn't seen me in a few days. He came up to me today with a pocket full (like 15). Whoo!

So, anyway, out of those 236, I clicked the wrong button once and lost at the RB Bundle.

171 of my entries were from 7/25 or before, when every entry was an instant winner. 64 entries have been since then, when the win-ratio has plummeted. I've lost 31 times, won 33 times (51.56% win-ratio)

204 wins out of 236 entries.

$408 worth of Wii Points - or 40,800 points - for virtually nothing. I did spend the $36 on the eBay codes, but for the sodas I've been drinking - well, I would have drank a soda anyway (maybe would have switched it up from Pepsi though - I had a Dr Pepper at dinner tonight and it was soooo tasty...). And there's all the free codes from co-workers... So, let's take the $36 I paid on eBay. Let's say about 1/3rd of my caps were from co-workers (although I'd say it's closer to half, I'm going to go low here). Let's say I paid about 75 cents for the soda and about 50 cents for the cap (to match my eBay rate). So, $55 for my 2/3rds, plus $36 for my eBay - $91 for $408, or about 22% of the actual price. Yay! Makes me feel better for buying the Mario Clock.

I still haven't found any 20oz Pepsis which have the special caps, and I've never even seen any 1-litre bottles. It's too bad I already redeemed the one code I had or else I'd have given it away. Is it possible to gift downloadable content...?

Ooh--sorry, I misinterpreted the question. No, I don't think it's possible to gift DLC because it's not available from the shop channel.
