*sigh*

It had damned well better be available for people who already have GameCubes.  I don't want to shell out $200 for another GameCube just so I can have a demo disc.

Nifty! I hope they will sell it for five to ten bucks like the PS2 or Xbox demo discs, for those of us who already own a cube.

Aww, I'd kill for a demo of Billy Hatcher...

*Mega sad face*

Hopefully Nintendo will get it right with their next CD based console and follow Sony's path. Ie: When you fill in the warrenty card with your details, you get sent a demo disc from time to time. Although the last demo I got from Sony was early last year with bloody AirBlade >=(

When you say demos do you mean movies or playable versions of part of the game?

Then I'll take high-rez captures of those trailers and spread them on FilePlanet and FileShack!

HAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAAHHAHABBYQYQAAVH

Seriously, Nintendo does a poor job releasing trailers.  They should hire me.

It says playable.  That generally means it's interactive.

It's good to see Nintendo putting 3rd party games on the disc.  I hope that they make a demo disc at least every other month.

I totally agree.  I've been asking for demo discs since I found out Nintendo's next console was disc based.  All of us loyal fans who bought the Cube at launch missed out on the price cut, and the platinum Cube, and the free game deal.  We better NOT miss out on this.  It better be available in Canada too.

It's about time they start gettin' some demos.  It would be very stupid for them to only include with new GC purchases.  They'll have them for sale by they're self.

I hope they will give the demo disks away to Nintendo Power subscribers and offer a deluxe subscription that includes demo disks every month or two. If not I really think they should make it available at retail for a arround $5.- $10.

They should be releasing demo discs when consoles launch. This way gamers have an idea about what is to come, and they can share that with their friends, and spread the games. It also gives variety to the games you can play because at launch dates there aren't man mega-hit titles.

About releasing them now. They better do it at a cheap price, or I can pretty surely say people won't buy them (unless if they have some real big games in there).

Also, the new Gamecube buyers are soo lucky. $150 for a Gamecube, Free Game, and now a Demo Disc.

The more I hear about this, I think it will be distributed at stores and stuff, not just with GCNs.  Because, IGN said that it would be free of charge, why would they include that if it was only to be shipped with GCNs.

I think its should be automatically shipped to those who have already purchased GCs or be available free at store counters. Maybe it could be sent out with Nintendo Power or some other gaming magazine.

I hope it comes in the Nintendo power, but if it doesn't I'll just buy a gamecube to get it.

My brother got the gamecube, and I have been buying all the games so far........ and he's starting to not let me use his system anymore.

I read that the demo disc is going to be free, and it will be given out at stores like
the free nintendo dvd disc was given out around last november/december.
i went into a software etc last december and got me the free nintendo dvd disc,
it had all their big 1st party titles and about 10 3rd party titles on it.  i still watch it every now and then.

HAIL THE CUBE!
