Super Mario Kart Mafia: Day 4. Sherbert Land.
« on: June 25, 2009, 01:53:10 AM »
Hey, what happened to my sun? Man, I did not expect to end up racing on sheer ice. And what's with these pushy penguins all over. I see even Maxi decided to skip out and not bother to show up in this weather.

Some of the other racers are giving me funny looks. I guess they think it is funny to see a monkey freeze in this weather. But you know what isn't funny. Vapour-lock. I wonder if any of the other racers have it will have to pull out. I guess we'll see what Plugabugz decision is on how roadworthy each vehicle is.

What would be hilarious:  RAB got a lightning bolt and used it on himself, or one of you two.

Just saying.  Very funny stuff.  It's always a possibility.

This is probably a stupid idea. Yeah I'm pretty sure I don't know what I'm getting myself into here. And yet I'm too curious to not do this.

Maxi shouldn't try and drive with doughnuts instead of tires. POP GOES THE WEASEL.

Maxi died by vote yesterday. He was a member of the green team. The green team cannot lose anyone else if they want to win.

One player is near death.

ITEM USES:
2 people were hit with clouds. One has transferred it to someone else.
Someone used the oil spill to switch two people's points tallies.

All unused items (banana/red shells) have expired. All PM's have been sent out.

Wow, I got a ton of communication from players last night, and I'm still sorting through it.

Maxi claimed to me to be blue.  Clearly he was a liar.  Now I get to figure out what else he lied about.

Alright, so there's four green team members, if, according to Plugabugz, if they lose one more, they lose, not that they lost already.

I know two blue team players and three red team players without a doubt, fortunately, so there's a little bit of an edge there, but I don't know who the last green members are.

One possibility is Dasmos, IMO, but I have to question, why would what happened with thePerm yesterday happen?  Those are two people I'll be looking into.

Edit:  Nah, I'm not going to be around for much of the day.  Via various screw-ups Khush experienced this game, I've determined that Vudu is actually a green team member.  For one, he hasn't voted at all, but he's followed the game.  Additionally, Khush approached me on day 1 as a red player, and vouched for Vudu under his wing, which, if you've played this game much before, you'd know Vudu doesn't just ally with someone like that, nor would he just reveal what color he is.

I'm pretty certain of Vudu being wrong, and for those blue team members out there who'd rather vote me out, it's worth it to point out that if I am wrong, Vudu's only taken a stance as being on the red team, so if I'm wrong, it, again, hurts my team.  I doubt I'm wrong, though.

un-vote Vudu

Edit:  Made a mistake, thought I read Khush was dead, so I ignored his existence.  Fixed that below.

Edit:  Wait.  I could've sworn I saw something saying Khush died earlier today.

2x Edit:  Indeed, earlier today, Plugabugz had said Khush was killed via shell, that he was on the green team, and that if team green lost another player, it would lose.  I might be going crazy.

Is that not the case?  I need a reality check, aisle five.

Well, it appears my illegal modifications went undetected and I am still in the race. And since Thatguy has declared war on me, I feel it is only fair to declare war on Thatguy. And yes, Thatguy is a red team member. Now, Thatguy said he wanted to take out a red member yesterday but didn't. Today he claims that if he takes out Vudu he could be taking out a red member. My question is this: If Thatguy is so eager to take out a red member, why doesn't he vote himself out so we can all be sure of it?

Well, I can't trust myself, apparently.  While I still think you're green, Vudu, there's not much of a reason to ignore Khush and wipe out the green team's chances at winning this game.

You'll probably get to live just because... You know.  Just because.  I also have a question for the PlugBugz dude:  If you're protecting yourself with a shell, and you get hit by a blue shell, what happens?

Also, does the user with the oil slick get to choose who he/she switches?

Edit:  You know, you could have avoided this if you had just approached me and told the truth, offering to work together to defeat our common enemy.  Instead your minion(s) tried to go after me on the second day.  That's just unfortunate.

I can answer that. I tried to protect myself with a blue shell on Day 2 but still lost a point due to the Blue Shell. Since I am down to 1 point left, another hit like that will kill me and end the Green Team chances. Therefore, it will be easy to wipe out the Green Team's chances at any time. However, since Thatguy is so determined to see the Green Team go down and has declared his intent of making sure we have no chance at victory, he has doomed the Red team. I know every player's color this game and have already talked to all the Blue team members except Mop_It_Up in bring down the Red team. Thatguy miscalculated. He backstabbed too soon and has left 3 angry individuals who no longer have any hope of winning but are stuck playing this game. No blue team member has yet stepped forward and declared they want the Green Team gone. Therefore, the enemy of my enemy is my friend.

Thatguy is hurting his own team and dooming them to be slowly voted off by a voting block of Green and Blue. If any Red members want any hope of winning, you will join with me in voting off Thatguy. Then, there will be a chance of reconciliation. But as long as Thatguy lives, Red will lose. Not to mention, with the Red team getting such wonderful items as a Lightning Bolt, Star and Blue Shell, chances are the Blue Team will soon encounter them to make up for such a deficit. I would not want to have to face such superior items and majority voting block if I were Red. You may need Green's help yet.

Finally, I mentioned that I had not contacted Mop_It_Up. That is because Mop_It_Up has been Thatguy's biggest ally giving him much information and info on the Blue Team despite Thatguy clearly being her enemy. Why do you think Thatguy knew Stratos was Blue? Mop_It_Up needs to wake up and realize who her team is and who she should be voting for.

- Like in the game, the blue shell will hit regardless.

Also, does the user with the oil slick get to choose who he/she switches?

- Yes.

Yes, it's clear on day one, the blue team knew who was on the blue team, and the red team knows who's on the red team.

...Oh, wait.  The only players who are certain of team members is the green.  Isn't that why the green team is a threat?

And, aside from that, if the Blue team is about to get powerful items, wouldn't having an extra team member help things out a little bit?

The thing is, Khush, with the Pow Block and Boo, there's really no way that you can be killed easily aside from the vote.  In fact, if your green members don't want to draw blue crossfire, you should come right out and say them, anyways.  After you're gone, there's no chance anyone would bother hitting them, right?  It would certainly be a boon hitting whomever you want to hit, wouldn't it?

Also, your last paragraph is amusing to me, to be honest.  I'm holding back a chuckle.

Edit:  So, that confirms it, I was mistaken about Vudu.  Apologies, and if you voted for him believing he was on the green team, you should undo that vote.  The oil slick was used on me and Vudu, and the result is that I still have three points.

Does the oil switch the points as in 'A has b points and b has A points' or does it just randomize the tallies to some rand amount of two people?

Also, your last paragraph is amusing to me, to be honest.  I'm holding back a chuckle.

Alright. So this will be a fun battle. I didn't want you to think I was livid with you or wanted you dead in real life. Now we can have a clash of the titans.

Let's address some things. The Red shell is useless. The Boo's value is determined on the item it steals and therefore it may or may not be a valueable item. With no one stating what their item is, it is a crapshoot. The Pow is also limited it's use. It only mixes up who gets hit with what. So, Green members can still get hit by items sent out against other players. It's a Hail Mary item like the Boo. A star or Lightning bolt are more powerful items. But I will tell you this.

I will use the Pow block tonight. That means with you voted out, the teams will stand at 4 v 4 v 3. That means for the green team to win, we would still have to vote out 4 members of a team. And with me at 1 point remaining and only a Boo and Red Shell, that is not going to happen. You, on the other hand, have 3 points thanks to switching points with one of you own team members (again, hurting your own side) and are on the only team not to have lost a player. I say, it is time to even the playing field.

And no, I do not need to reveal my green team mates. They do not need to pay for my errors. Plus, by keeping them hidden, you do not know which ones are red and which are green. That gives the Blue players the advantage.

Oh, you told the blue players?  I figured when you said you told them the blue players that you meant blue players, but really, doesn't matter.

If you use the pow block, how does that help anything?  If anyone on the green team uses the pow block, the best it would do is confuse the people the blue team targets, and possibly kill you, as well as other green members.  I'm just saying, if you want to talk numbers, wouldn't it be best if you didn't use the pow block, if you're already consigned to victory and the blue team knows who's on the green team?  After all, you've already conceded the game, right?

Sounds like somebody is up to something...

Ha ha ha, oh Khushrenada. You are so funny with your crackpot theories you should be a comedian.

I know exactly what you're doing. You're trying to make me look like a traitor.

Stratos told me nothing. Why would he? After all, I was voting for him. Of course, I was just teasing him, but he didn’t know that. After my first game I promised him I would not swear revenge on him. But things got out of control, and it looks like I started a bandwagon against him even though everyone who voted for him had their own reason to do so. The reason why I feel so bad about it is because I broke my promise… and of course it was a mistake to act so regretful in public because everyone in this game looks way too far into everything.

Of course, I think you're also trying to extract information from me. So I shall say no more.
