Recently Semnat Studios announced that their WiiWare debut, Eduardo the Samurai Toaster, is hitting the online marketplace on June 15.

Priced at 800 Wii Points ($8), Eduardo the Samurai Toaster is a side-scrolling action game with a unique visual style inspired by several art mediums such as acrylic paint and charcoal. I've actually never read anything about this game up until now. Sounds really fun. I especially like the idea of 4-player co-op.

I don't even want to know what decision process led to the creation of a Samurai toaster.

Also, how does this article not have a "Brave Little Toaster" reference?

I loved Lampy or whatever it's name was. I think I cried near the end of that movie when I was little.

I want to watch it again. Though, much like Land Before Time, the sequels were annoying and disturbing.

It's been a topic on Nintendo Life for a while, the devs say their inspiration was Gunstar Heroes.

That's the sad thing, I go there a lot but I don't think I ever read any of their articles about it.

I've been intrigued for awhile on this game. I just saw a the debut trailer of it on GameTrailers and it looks pretty fun and worth $8. I hope it does pretty well.
