Pornographic Banner Ads?!?

No, seriously.

I was browsing the site from my phone and while in the Punch Out! Wii thread there was an explicit banner ad between my personal info (where my message alerts are) and the first post of the page.

This was the first and only time such an ad has displayed on the site in my X years browsing and posting, and though I'm not offended by such images (trust me what was displayed was NOTHING compared to the kinda filth you could search for) I am worried that if such ads keep popping up, the forums will no longer be safe for work.. where I do the majority of my browsing.

Has anyone else experienced this? Is this even something the site can control? I really don't want to avoid browsing the forums on my downtime at work because some dirty images pop up in an ad.

if this happened on my PC I would of had a screen capture but I was on my phone.. still took a pic for proof! No one can claim I'm crazy now.

I have FireFox so I never see any of the ads. Now I'm glad.

I've never seen it. Must have been a fluke maybe?

Though I do remember there were some strongly suggestive ones on the site back when PGC first became NWR. I remember because a friend walked into my dorm room and made an awkward comment about what I was looking at when I was on this site.

thereve beenb a few suggestive ones before that i've seen even at work but this one actually had female nudity (breasts) and sexual acts (i wont go into detail), so i really am hoping it was just a fluke.

Same, I can't imagine why anyone would put up with seeing any banner ads. The only time I see them is when I view the site at school.

It may not be too inaproprate, but I am getting bomberded by Trojen Condom ads in your banners... =_=

Really, today almost every banner is showing a condom on a invisable.... ummm....errr.... "Super" Mushroom?
