 EA Sports Grand Slam Tennis marks the first tennis game that the EA Sports division has ever developed, and the Wii version will be the first released.Claiming to replicate an authentic tennis experience, it features 23 professional tennis players including John McEnroe, and famous grand slam venues such as Wimbledon, the U.S. Open, the Australian Open, and Roland Garros.

The game's emphasis is on putting the tennis racket in the palm of the player's hand with the Wii Remote. As one of the first games to feature Wii MotionPlus support, Grand Slam Tennis uses the new technology to enhance its gameplay with added shot depth, precise ball placement on the court, and racket rotation. The game can be played either with or without a Nunchuk. If the Nunchuk is used, players will have full control over their characters and can move them around the court however they want.

The game will feature robust multiplayer modes, with a dozen different party games included. There is also online play using EA Nation for singles and doubles matches, and a unique leaderboard called the Nations Leaderboard that lets each win contributes to the worldwide rank of your country.

To improve a person's skill in the game there is practice courts at each venue, which features various pop-ups to improve your abilities.

Grand Slam Tennis is developed by EA Canada and will be available on June 15.

I'm stunned that the way the character holds his or her racket is affected my Motion Plus. I had to stop and ask Flames to see if that really happened in the demonstration.

Shaky cam was hardly noticed, but that ambient noise "OMG my ears are bleeding ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh". A unidirectional microphone would do wonders in these kind of events for any interview done by the NWR staff.

Anyway...

I'm still kind of hesitant towards how beneficial the Motion Plus will be towards my gaming experience, but that won't stop me from getting one and see for myself.

I can't even begin to express my hate for the way my Mii in Wii Tennis will change his stance when I don't want him to.  I'll have to try this game just for the novelty, nay, euphoria of being able to control it.

By not releasing Nintendo games, Nintendo cares about third parties.

When no new Nintendo games are released, Nintendo players don't buy new games.

When Nintendo players don't buy new games, that includes third party games.

When third party games aren't bought, third parties blame Nintendo and its audience for not being gamers.

Since Nintendo and its audience don't consist of gamers, third parties drop support.

~~~~~
When third party games were released with no Nintendo games in sight, the Nintendo audience declared a drought?
