Elite beat agents 2
« on: April 05, 2009, 09:18:59 PM »
Well... EBA 2 hasn't been officially announced yet, but there is a screen shot showing EBA 2 on a UK DS game listing.

But that is not why I made this tread, I wanted a open discusion on what is everyones favorite traits and music of EBA 1. And Also, what do you hope the new features in and music are in Elite Beat Agents 2?

EBA1- I could never really get into playing guitar hero. I never knew many of the songs, nor cared, each stage is wild yes, but zombie crowds jumping, and random weird people on set singing off cue with music made it a unmemorable experience. If you go to buy G.H, it is because you enjoy the songs, and care less about story, humor, and in some cases gameplay (for me at least).

Elite Beat Agents are VERY creative. I heard the rave about EBA, but viewing it as a G.H clone, I never cared to play it, I recently rented it, and I LOVE IT. True, it has fewer songs, and less qualities then G.H, but it makes up with it other qualities. I LOVE the humor, gameplay, and humor. Dancing to get a date, stop the rain, killing zombies, and destroying aliens is priceless. At first I didn't know many songs, but I knew a few like Y.M.C.A. and some others. I found I grew to love the others as well. The agents them selves are great and funny, and I LOVE THE ARTWORK!

EBA2- (I gotta go soon, so I can't type too much)

1. They NEED to keep same artest, they need that same art style that they have.
2. Try to fit more music on.
3. Bring back some old characters for kicks, and add some rememberable new ones.
4. More endings?
5. M.J's Thriller

If you enjoyed Elite Beat Agents, you should look into importing Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan and the sequel Moero! Nekketsu Rhythm Damashii Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan 2. Both are great games, and as long as you don't mind JPop, the soundtrack is catchy and fun as well (I have the Ouendan 2 soundtrack on my iPod!).

I'd really like to see more EBA though as well since I love the whole Ouendan/EBA series so damn much.

What Mr. Jack said.  :)  I actually vastly prefer the first Ouendan game over EBA.

(I have the Ouendan 2 soundtrack on my iPod!)

Small world--I have the first soundtrack on mine.  ;D
Why must all things be so bright? Why can things not appear only in hues of brown! I am so serious about this! Dull colors are the future! The next generation! I will never accept a world with such bright colors! It is far too childish! I will rage against your cheery palette with my last breath!

I bought EBA from Toys R Us last November for $5.  That may have been the greatest deal in gaming history, well, at least in the top 10.

The game is a lot of fun, but it took me nearly my entire lunch (20+ minutes) to "beat" the stage with the nurses and viruses.  I'd be all down for an EBA2, although to be honest, I probably wouldn't buy it on the first day.  That would probably end up being a $10 purchase for me.  Call me cheap if you must!
