I've been using a "skin" or screen protector from this site for some time on my touchscreen cell phone - and it's amazing. When I show it to people, I literally take my car keys and scrape them across the screen - and it leaves no scratches! I got one for my wife's phone after she had it awhile (and it was well scratched) and, after applying it, it made the phone look virtually new. Recently, I picked one up for my DSlite and it looks great as well.

Have you used the product for like an Ipod classic? Is it removable from the DS? Did it change the responsiveness of the touch screen?

It hasn't effected the touch screen on either my phone or my DS. According to the reviews I read before purchasing the first one for my cell phone, the skins are fairly easily removed without leaving a sticky residue. Obviously, I haven't had to remove mine yet, but when my dogs got a hold of my wife's cell phone and chewed it to bits, the skin did come off and there was nothing left behind...

I have not tried a skin on an iPod...

They may send some out if we hold a contest. Say I came up with another silly photo contest... if five random submitters got one of these skins would I get a better turn-out than we did for the Christmas one?

I had purchased protective skins for my cell phones from Best Skins Ever (www.bestskinsever.com), and had been very happy with them. So when I purchased two new DSi's for myself and my daughter, I figured it would be a good idea to protect my investments. The skins I purchased that cover the whole unit plus both screens, were less expensive than what Gamestop charges for the screen protectors ALONE ! The installation is easy, but does take some patience. If you have installed these types of protectors before, it will be a snap ! Attached are some photos of my completed installation. If you want protection for your DSi or just a "shiny" finish, this is the product you want.
