If this is true...I'll smash my Xbox360. If the Wii gets a Silent Hill, I don't know what I would do. This is one of my favorite series ever. I even have the soundtracks!

Yeah, hopefully Konami or Cli will bring this out of the rumor state. I was not a huge fan of Silent Hill Origins(developed also by Climax), but I don't think they could eff up a remake of a PSX game.

Yeah, Origins was garbage. If this does come to fruition, I think I'd be pretty stoked. The first Silent Hill was a pretty decent game that I undoubtedly would've enjoyed more if I would've played it when it was first released. Being that I played the game about 3 years ago, the unbelievable fog was maddening. Sure some of it created ambiance, but past that, it was just an obvious hardware limitation.

Hopefully, if the rumor is true, Climax doesn't screw it up too bad. While they might not be great at making a new Silent Hill game, from a technical standpoint, they did just fine with Origins.

I thought Origins was alright. The boss fights were beyond easy, though. The final level was WAY too long, though. And it was technically brilliant.

I haven't played Homecoming yet...I keep hearing bad things. But I do love Silent Hill, so if they remade the first game for the Wii (or PSP), I'd be all about that.

They'll turn it into an interactive novel consisting of still images and dialogue. MUCH easier to make and has more appeal to the casual audience...

I am joking, of course, but they did make a Silent Hill Visual Novel for the GBA many years ago.
