Well, for domestic software sales, anyway, beating out Konami.Even though Nintendo is far behind Sony in the console hardware market in the homeland, Nintendo still manages to sell a bunch of GC and GBA software. Japanese magazine publisher Enterbrain (publisher of Famitsu Weekly) has tallied up the sales from the past year ending March 31, and has deterimined that Nintendo is number one.
Konami Corp, which shoved Nintendo aside in the April-September period thanks to "World Soccer Winning Eleven 6", came in at number two, as Nintendo's "Pokemon Ruby" and "Pokemon Sapphire" were the nation's best-selling games on the year.
