Is it possible for you to put a link to the NWR front page from the forums? It would make things easier for me.

Maybe there is already a link and I can't find it.

I think you should be able to modify the header section of your index.php for the SMF theme.

Down at the bottom of the page there are a bunch of links, but personally I always liked the header image linking to the front page, just made it quick and easy to get there.

I never noticed the links in the footer. You could just add this code to the top of the header.

I click on the banner at the top and all it does it take me to root of forums. not good not good

That top banner used to be a link to the front page, Snipper.

It's been said by others (and me) before, but I miss that link. It's silly that there isn't one. From a web design usability standpoint, you shouldn't force visitors to make changes in the address bar to get somewhere else in your site.

You know, I always wondered about that too. I like having the banner go to the forum root, but having something else there to go to the frontpage would be nice. Might make me visit it more.

Funnily enough, I read the thread title 'Link to the Frontpage' and thought it was a joke thread for 'Link to the Past' before realizing it wasn't in the Funhouse.

There's an easy way to do both. Just cut that forum header graphic in half. Have the left side (Nintendo World Report) go to the front page. Have the right side (Forums) go to the forum root.

If you're too lazy to always click through the main page to get to the forums then bookmark both the front page and the forum index.
