I own an old tv, about 15 years old or so, and i wondered if a rgb cable would work ?

Probably not.  RGB composite cables would require a pretty high-end TV.  You need to look at your TV though.  What do you have?  Are there Red Green and Blue inputs for video?  Is there only a yellow input? Is there only an RF screw?  I can't see you're TV, so I can't tell you what you need.
