New digital rewards this month:
  • Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past (Wii VC, 150 coins)
  • Art Style: CUBELLO (WiiWare, 150 coins)
  • Dillon's Rolling Western (3DS eShop, 200 coins)
  • Metroid (3DS VC, 150 coins)
Zelda on Wii VC is definitely worth 150 coins, and it's a great time to play it with the sequel coming to 3DS soon.
CUBELLO is a decent game from the gorgeous Art Style series, so asking 150 coins is pretty reasonable for puzzle fans.

As for the rest... meh.

I'm curious about Dillon's Rolling Western... but reviews weren't kind, and it seems like 200 coins might be better saved/spent elsewhere.

(Plus I'm still hoping there will be a restock for the 3DS XL cradles.)

I thought people who played Dillon were positive about the title? I was considering picking it up at some point.

Yeah, it's one of those games where most people liked it more than reviewers did. From what I heard of it though, I'm weary I'd feel more similarly to the reviewers.

I'm pretty sure that this is the first time an eShop exclusive game was offered. I wanted Pushmo or Fluidity though, but I might check out Dillon. I've heard it gets really repetitive, so I might not like it, but I don't really have anything else to spend coins with so it won't be much loss.

I might be interested in Zelda if it were for Wii U, but I'm not going to get any more Wii downloads from these.

I thought Cubello was kinda boring. It doesn't really feel like a puzzle, and the last bit usually comes down to luck.

I feel the same way though I never downloaded any Wii games.

I'm mildly interested in Dillon's Rolling Western, but I just sent my 3DS XL to Nintendo a few hours ago.

I've got nothing better to do with my coins, so I'm gonna grab LttP so I can eventually get the cheap upgrade. I'll pick up Cubello once I get 3D World and Link Between Worlds in.

Heads up, but Nintendo have sent out a 10-coin survey about multiplayer gaming to certain members, and it expires on the 10th. I don't know how widespread this survey is, but I had one, so check your account!

Mop it up, thanks for the heads up.  I received and now have completed the 10 point survey.  More points for me.

While I love Zelda games, I have those originals and I have a hard time justifying using points on games I already have access to.  Still debating Dillon, but I haven't gotten it yet.  So the most likely scenario is I don't remember to decide and I miss the deadline and new games are out.

I don't know how many people will see this before they're gone, but the cradles are back on Club Nintendo. Blue's sold out already.

Thanks for the heads up, Shaymin! I'm not personally interested, but I did manage to alert UncleBob.

Update: Green is now sold out as well.

Sadly, I was at work and they were all five gone by the time I had a chance to try and order one. :(

Thanks for trying to help me out though :D

Thanks for the heads-up. Frustrating that I was away from my PC when they were listed and everything sold out (again) long before I knew they were even available. Maybe third time will be the charm... although I'm not holding my breath.

Oh well. Getting an XL cradle for free was kind of the deciding factor about whether or not I would upgrade my original 3DS. With the holidays about to arrive, that money would be better spent on friends and family anyway.

Same here. Nice to finally have a jewel case for that soundtrack, not to mention a more recent printing than the 2001-ish Nintendo Power original.

Sometimes I just do both intend to purchase surveys and choose what I will do later. Usually I download. Just less hassle.

So, in honor of this year's Platinum Club Nintendo rewards, I thought I'd take y'all through memory lane of my  previous Nintendo rewards!

First up: MyNintendo Rewards!  That's right, before Club Nintendo, we had MyNintendo.  It wasn't very exciting, but there was gifts!

Register The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass and you got a cool feather stylus!
Register Brain Age 2 and you got this rainbow stylus set!

A pink stylus for Kirby: Canvas Curse!

A Metroid Prime II Demo Disc for registering some games.

Zelda: Collector's Edition.  No one wanted this. :D

Yes, this is framed, I like it that much.  Sent out at the switchover between MyNintendo and Club Nintendo.

Kid Icarus cards for doing virtually nothing.  I think we filled out a form?

Two exclusive WiiWare titles, one Platinum reward and one that cost only 80 coins.

Ocarina of Time 3D soundtrack for registering Ocarina of Time 3D.

Majora's Mask Soundtrack from Platinum Rewards.

Kirby patch set!

A Mario fan for a Mario fan!

Two awesome sets of figures!

Four sets of cards, Animal Crossing, Mario Party, Platinum and the Hanafuda cards!

Game and Watch: Ball working replica!

Three of the four pins.  I missed C. :( :( :(

History of Nintendo Handheld cards!

Gold Wii Nunchuk... Can't bring myself to open it... :D

Wii Fit Tote Bag

18 Slot DS Game Case.  I love these. :D

A sweet little caddy for whatever you want to put in it.  Like more Club Nintendo rewards. :D

Huge button set.

Not my pictures, because I haven't opened my posters (waiting on that)...

All of the posters and the giant AR card.  Also, I've got both the original and replacement posters for the Skyward Sword and Animal Crossing oopsie.

I promise, I've got 'em all!

And a few overseas rewards:

Professor Layton Box for games 1-3 from the UK.

Wii TV Remote Control from Japan.

Game and Watch Collection 1 & 2 and Tingle's Balloon Fight from Japan.

And finally, my discounted Zelda Symphony Concert Tickets (do these count?)

Very nice, Uncle Bob. I missed the Brain Age 2 and Kirby Canvas Curse stylus rewards during the MyNintendo era.

As far as Club Nintendo rewards, I've quite enjoyed the poster sets. Haven't really gone crazy over many of the other rewards, though they are all certainly neat in their own way. Kinda wish I had picked up the Handheld History Cards, though.

Were you able to snag a Kirby medal?
