For reals, yo. I liked how Ghost Babel was an alternate sequel to Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake. None of this "let's explain the unexplainable with nanomachines" nonsense. Black Arts Viper was an awesome villain.
It was an alternate sequel to the original Metal Gear, and it took place in 2002. From what I researched, Ghost Bable was somewhat a testing ground for some plot devices later used for MGS2. The game was directed by the same guy who made the AC!D games for PSP.
In my little own world, if Kojima fixed some of the plot mistakes in MGS3, and some in MGS4, the MGS series as of now would be more acceptable to me. The reason Kojima went to such wild lengths with the story in MGS2 was that he planned it to be his last MGS game. However, being the confused SOB he is (and the fans seriously sending death threats to him, WTF?), he decides to make another MGS game, including Raiden bashing (oh boy, Raikov...). Then MGS4 comes around and we can't help but make fun of it.
Crap, I have to say this. Ghost Babel has more gameplay and a better story then MGS4.
