i had the chat with caterkiller on aim. Basically as soon as i got done with watching Transformers 1 on premier night my first thought was I better go write a GI JOE script. So i did some research on the series, because it had been a while. This was before Dark Knight had came out, but i had been a Batman Begins fan and Dark Knight pretty much came out how I had hoped it would and that was the type of treatment i would have given GI JOE if i had wrote it. However within a week they found a regular Hollywood writer and a regular Hollywood director and within 2 weeks after searching for a writer they had a script written Batman Forever style. I knew it was going to be a huge budget kids movie that was campy and cheesey, and after pre-production/filming and release thats exactly what came out. So, my conversation with Caterkiller was there needs to be a straight up nonGI JOE move, different name of course. Thats like a grindhouse exploitation style with like a slick plotline that does all the things that rock in an action movie that they'd leave out of a kids movie. It would be total GI JOE though. There would be the duke type character, an indian, a ninja, a red headed chick basically GI JOE characters with different names. Cobra though would be like a real fucking evil terrorist organization. Like the craziest thing to come out on the internet was when Nick Berg had his head chopped off. I've done a lot of research, its just taking and putting everything together. I could do all sorts of movies with some of the research iv done. I'm filled with ideas really, its just converting those ideas into movies is a problem. One idea i have i have no idea how to build a plot around it.
i pick you, blacknmild, caterkiller, and Kashogi because theres some degree of creative synergy i see. Like iv written a 57 page comedy before, and what I really need a co-writer or co-writers because i can't bounce ideas off myself.
