Is anyone else in AUS having trouble getting hold of metroid prime??

i've looked at toys'r'us, kmart, myer, david jones, big w, and even on a number of websites, and noone has it in stock.

the only place i know that has it is electronics boutique, and i really hate those guys!!!!

does anybody know when nintendo is going to release metroid properly??

well, i preordered it and haven't been out since i got it home (hehehehe), why do you hate the EB guys? i love eb! they gave me a discount cause i bought Metroid Prime and Pokemon Ruby at the same time, was great! i would buy metroid of satan himself tbh, its worth it, so like bite the bullet and go get it from EB, go now! yes, NOW at 5am!

Well then, looks like you'll have to pay EB a visit if you can't find it anywhere else. Why the hatred of EB?

Eh, they price matched my copy of Metroid to Target's $89.95. I love them =)

Yeah. EB is cool. I got Eternal Darkness there for 80 bucks brand new. Discounted from Games wizards of course.

And Skeo, how come we ain't never seen you in these parts before?

And to reiterate my shame, I haven't got Metroid Prime yet.
Joeyjojo told me to kill myself because of it, but I just can't seem to die.
Haha.

I will get it soon. Soon.....yes.......maybe today. Hmmmm.......

target in my area got over 20copys in
and most off the over stores got about 5 copys
if u cant find any, then u would have to wait for the 2nd shipment
I got mine $93 from BigW, and that was the last copy at 10:30am the launch morning

I know how you feel.  There was one EB store I went to and everyone working there seemed to have an X-Box controller up their rectal area.  They would be condescending toward you if you didn't know about the release dates beforehand and would seem annoyed if you ask them for anything.

www.dvdcrave.com has it for about 90 dollars, and like 1 or 2 dollars for Postage (it took mine about 1-2 days)
it's an australian site, and it has it in stock.
it also has zelda preorder with the master disk

i also hate EB, i refused to buy it from there.

Heh, do you live in NSW blackfoot? If so, THPS3 was a mere $12 in The Games Wizards about three weeks back. I was very tempted to get it, but I was already sitting down...

And Kelly Slater is stinky =P

I went to Bankstown Sqaure today.
-EB has quite a few copies there.
-Target, I think, has sold out.
-I didn't check Kmart
-I don't think Funland Games even knows that Metroid is even out yet. No stand, no nothing. Or maybe they just sold out too.

Big W at Chullora Marketplace has no copies. Either Sold out, or no idea.

Yeah, it was tough work getting Metroid Prime for free, a week before it came out Wait, no it wasnt. Oh well, back to trying to finish Metroid.... FOR THE SECOND TIME!

i got my metroid prime from eb and im currently 67% through
i know how you feel eb always screws me over aswell, but you have to get that game form somewhere

hey guys,

i hate EB because of the whole xbox controller up the ass thing.

plus the store near me doesnt even give gamecube a wall of its own, it is confined to makeshift shelving around one of the columns that holds up the roof.

and they screwed me with perfect dark, and made me pay $20 extra for it, and didnt let me get the pack with the expansion in (making me purchase it seperatly for more) all because i preorderd and had paid my deposit. *ssholes!!!!!!

AND they always break release dates, and i generally buy my games from toys r us cos i work there and get a discount, which means my less concerned friends get new games a day or two before me and dont let me forget about it!!!

oh, and ive been around, for a long while infact....  i think i made about 50 odd postings on the old boards, i just dont have a lot of time, and its quicker just to read stuff and not bother replying, especially when i leave for a day or two and my post has reached two pages so the people who asked me questions at the start probably wont even read my reply!!!!!!!!
