Anyone see the boxart on IGN? It's probably the greatest boxart of all time. Seriously.
I think it says on the box, 'No Hispanics' " - Jeff Green of EA

Yeah, that cover is great. It's a pity the title font is so ugly though.

There is lots of talk about the original game and about Treasure as a development team.

I'd say Greg, but since he already has the Japanese version...no.

For those leaning on the fence, GameStop is offering two bonuses for those who pre-order the game from them (and buy, it of coarse). One is a 500 Nintendo Points card (similar to the deal they did with Monster Hunter Tri), and the other is a poster.

EDIT: Please do not hotlink images from other sites. Either host them yourself or lost a link.

I've seen this a lot with DVD's, they include a insert with the box advertising that same DVD.

Pro, would you rather have the Mario expansion pack or RE5 Still Screwed Up Edition?

Or how about Grand Theft Auto but set in the Wild West Red Dead: Redemption?

Will be picking this up tomorrow morning if Best Buy has any copies left (ordered online for store pickup but was closed when the order went through. Will have to wait until tomorrow morning for confirmation.).  I didn't play the first one on VC but the videos has really peaked my interest. I wanted to get an action packed game to kick off the summer and it was this or the new Transformers game. However since I limit my PS3 and 360 purchases to used games if they are really cheap and to very specific games new games that aren't on the Wii (those purchases are very limited as well, one for each system a year is what I've decided upon now).

With the good reviews and decent commercial anyone think this could end up being a sleeper hit in the US?

I think it is possible NeoStar. There has been lots of good impressions I've seen. Also with the release of the first on the VC there is more people aware of it.
Hmm this is the first time this series has gotten a retail release in the USA.Would be interesting to see what comes out of this situation.

This game could be interesting to watch. It seems a bit strange, I'm not sure how much appeal it has. I think it may end up like Punch-Out!!, where it posts a relatvely low initial number, but continues to sell about the same each month through word of mouth and such. At the end of it, it will probably end up around 600k.

That's my prediction.

Awesome game, totally worth the purchase price.  I'm deeply impressed by the variety they introduced as well, and aside from Stage 4 there aren't really all that many missteps.  My thanks to Gregg for mentioning the fact that you get more points by walking: it's done quite a bit for my score!

Unfortunately, if Japan and Europe are anything to go by, I'm pretty sure it'll bomb.  Which totally sucks, because I'm loving it more than Galaxy 2 by a fair margin.

If Sin & Awesoment gets trounced by Just Dance, I will be emo.

EDIT: Should I also mention that the big boss of Stage 2 is kind of like a mini throwback to Seven Force from Gunstar Heroes? One of his forms is a Dolphin. A DOLPHIN. Also the stage had four mini-bosses.

Damn it Treasure, I know you want me to feel horrible about my gaming skills but I died like five times on NORMAL MODE.

Picked this up yesterday and I like it even though there are no weapon upgrades. Explosions and Death everywhere make up for that.

Picked it up yesterday. I've never played the original game, so all I have to compare this to is Space Harrier. I'm definitely liking it so far despite all the jagged edges.
