Let's ignore all the promising gameplay footage, and wait until something that is at worse questionable is revealed to :(

Everything GP says is hilarious when you picture her avatar saying it in a dry, sarcastic way.

Punchout Wii has confirmed Multiplayer and online, right?

In fact, the disc that we must seize the brim and a few other things no longer have space. We are the first internal Nintendo development team, based on such a space problem with the Wii-DVD hits it really gets a lot of stuff!

Ok now the complainers can stop now.

Why does that looks like a bad translation of a interview? Whoever wrote that appears to have failed English in school.

Because it is a bad translation done by google, the interview was in German.

NEVER!

That interview doesn't really say much.  When you start the game you'll only have access to the Minor Circuit.  Beating it will UNLOCK the Major Circuit.  He interviewee didn't say anything to contradict the report of only 13 opponents.
Why must all things be so bright? Why can things not appear only in hues of brown! I am so serious about this! Dull colors are the future! The next generation! I will never accept a world with such bright colors! It is far too childish! I will rage against your cheery palette with my last breath!

GIGA MAC!

Giga Mac is a character available on head to head mode. When the other players enough damage Mac will turn into Giga Mac and deal more damage.

Looks cool. AND, now Mac has a final smash for SSB 4 XD .

because we have to few characters who turn big.

bowser, jigglypuff, mr. game and watch, fox, wolf, falco

also turning Giga in Punchout didn't seem to really help the person who was losing

The person playing as Giga Mac needs to time his hits better. Its up to the player to play well and not just attack rapidly.

See, they turn into GIANTS. Little Mac just gets bigger. I think he would be slightly taller than Ganondorf or Bowser in their normal form.

And, I think they had Giga Mac being pummeled because of the whole "David and Goliath" aspect of the game. But I am sure Giga Mac is deadly.

I'm waiting for reviews of this one.  Honestly, if they could have topped Super Punch Out, wouldn't they have done it by now (the GBA or GameCube would have been fine platforms for the third game)?  I'm starting to seriously think my initial fear will turn out true.  It's going to be easier than the first two games owing to the reduced responsiveness of motion control.  May I be wrong.

Considering I think Punch-Out!! topped Super Punch-Out shouldn't be much of a problem. Also you must not be paying to any of the hands-on play throughs of the game because the controls are NOT gimped. It is interesting that you have all these doubts when the overwhelming response from people who played it has been positive.

That's a BS argument. What about Metroid? There was 7 years in between releases (1994's Super Metroid, 2001's Metroid Prime and Metroid Fusion). Or in Japan how many years did they go between Mother 2 and Mother 3? For all we know they just had no interest in releasing a new Punch-Out.

Same with Sin&Punishment. There are plenty of franchises that remain dormant for a VERY VERY long time that come back.

Well Bear Hugger and Don Flamingo are now confirmed for the game.  Scans from the recent issue of Game Informer have come out and in it, both Bear Hugger and Don Flamingo are shown.

Somebody on Gamefaqs posted the scans, here's the links.
