Topic: Which forum suicide was better?

After reading Rat's this question came to mind. Rat's was sudden, controversial, and huge, but Wandering's had a certain poetic charm to it. What do the people think?

he was gone for so long this perma-ban doesnt even make much of a difference. How long has it been, a week since he came back?

oh and where did all that angst come from? can someone point me to a related thread where he was getting political and was silence?

In that thread I posted something from Fox news about a boy who had cancer and someone took the kids puppy and Wii. After that it went to hell.

i saw some of that but it didnt seem that bad unless i cuaght it after editing..

I didn't include GoldenPhoenix because she left the door open that she might return. Rat's been banned and Wandering gave his word that he's not coming back, and the spam thread was clearly used to quickly and intentionally reach his self-imposed 5,000 post limit.

Wandering's for sure, it was almost beautiful. I may have been a catalyst to his self-death, but he has assured me that I wasn't the reason he left. Which made me feel warm inside.

Rat's was basically a giant dummy spit over a non-subject. It's about time if you ask me, he's been banned 3 times or something and always came crawling back. Hopefully the mods will have the good sense to not let him back.

I hope GoldenPhoenix comes back.  Her posts were usually pretty insightful even if I didn't always agree with them.  Plus, this place is too much of a sausagefest.

Getting back to the topic at hand I'm going to have to go with Wandering just because that was at least premeditated, even if in execution it was thrown together at the last minute.  Rat's was just totally reactionary.  But honestly neither one was a real great, "A-1" type of suicide.

I like Rat's.  I just saw it.  It was pretty awesome.
