Well maybe you can finish the Elite 4 off before the next pokemon tourney starts. It is going to be a bug only tourney.

Ok we have 5 people signed up for the tourney. We need 1 more person. The tourney starts on the 8th but the rules state that whoever is paired up with someone can set up a time that works for both of them. I think Caterkiller,Stratos and Tanatoes have the pokemon games. So please if you want to participate PM me.

Well I didn't even place in the pokemon tourney.

I just finished the Excitebike:World Rally tourney and I got second.There were 4 players.

So yeah I am thinking that after E3 maybe June 20th I will host my bug type tournament.
Here are the rules. No entry hazards. Only using bug types in the tourney. We will likely be using Pokemon Platinum or Pokemon Battle Revolution to play. 6 pokemon. Single battles. It will likely be one match per round.

Anything else goes.

I have to get back to working on my team.

Yeah all bug types except Arceus. Level cap will be level 50. You can raise your pokemon higher than that but we will use level 50 as the default level to play.

Oh! Todays Tuesday! In every game post-original gold/silver I've quickly lost steam in the game until I've acquired a Scyther. I need one to have any motivation to play. In Platinum I think I had to make due with a traded Kabuto from my sister until she could find one in her version. Kabutops is my second favorite. I like monsters with scythes apparently. In my original Blue/Gold team all but like one member of my final roster knew slash or something like slash.

This will motivate me to take my Anorith through the Elite Four to evolve him. Then it's just a matter of grinding to get him to Lv. 50.

Other good bug types that come to mind...

Scizor, Drapion, Yanmega, Pinsir...

Is it just me, or is it about damn time that Pinsir got a 2nd evolutionary stage?

I used to be convinced that Heracross was an evolution of Pinsir. Both are bizarre beetle type pokemon.

The first image of Scizor I saw was a teeny tiny image in Nintendo Power and I thought it was a pre-volution and pronounced 'scissor'...ah, that reminds me of getting in arguments in English class with my friend on how to pronounce names like Eevee and we badgered the teacher until she made a verdict on it.

Hate to break it to you but Drapion is a poison/dark type which means it can't be used in the tourney.
