We have a tie! So i went to the items to make the decision.

Khush was hit by no items.
Wandering was hit by 2 red shells.

Therefore Wandering, the last RED Team member, is dead. The game is OVER!

The Blue Team, has won!

The final remaining blue players:
Spak-Spang - 1 point
Stevey - 1 point
Khush - 3 points

The final item uses:
Wandering & Spak chose to use their bananas defensively.
Khush & Stevey used their items on Wandering.

Everyone is now free to vote on the remaining 3 players for best player, and once more for best player over the whole game.
I will be uploading an image which details everyone's item usage.

My Thoughts:
1 - Nickmitch had the most powerful item in the game and could have single-handedly outed the green player (Vudu).
2 - The Blue Team went straight to work and destroyed the red team, while the Red Team were semi-handicapped by (what appeared to be) most of the players not getting involved.
3 - Wandering's strategy to keep quiet early on allowed him to make it to the very end.
4 - Wandering asked me what would happen if we reached a tie (one red/one blue) - That is the only thing i didn't expect to happen, nor even plan for.
5 - A big big transatlantic thanks to DAaaMan64 for assisting with the threads and end-of-days.

I will say right now...I SHOULD NOT be considered for the Best Player.

That Leaves Stevey and Khush...both played very different games and very smart games.

Khush did help eliminate all red players and he green player.  Taking control of the game.  But he also is solely responsible for the one blue death.

Stevey, figured out himself that Vudu was not to trusted by item usage before anyone else...and helped eliminate Vudu, and also used some sound logic to prove wandering was red.

I will wait for my vote later...because i don't want to be the first one voting.

A Separate Post to tell my thoughts on this game.

Mario Kart Mafia took the Mafia formula and really turned it upside down.  Having 2 equal teams that don't know who each other are allowed for the feeling of not trusting anyone back into a Mafia game.  The item usage gave everyone a feeling of power, and the vote out kept the formula of reading votes and predicting who is who.

The biggest flaw in the game was randomizing of items.  It did not feel like Mario Kart.  I would have suggested making 3 category of items and removed the idea of team items.

Basic Items:  For players that have full health.  This items are not very strong but could come in handy.
coins, bananas, turtle shell, mystery box, Cloud, item revealer, Boo

Near Death Items:  For players with one point of Health left:
3 bananas, 3 Turtle Shells, coins,

Team Near Death:  For when a team had 2 players or with a total of 3 points of health between them...or less.
Lightning, Blue Turtle Shell, 3 Bananas, 3X coins, ect...

This would have created a feel of true Mario Kart.  As it was I got a blue Turtle Shell at the beginning and it took Red Team down to size, and later Khushrenda got a Blue Turtle Shell and did the same thing.

Red's entire Team was down 2 points each very early in the game...and that was just not good.

I'm... I'm alive. Wow.

On the whole, a good game by me but not my best.

The targetting of Easycure, Unclebob and Nickmitch were spot on.

My mistakes came with items and Vudu. Vudu, my nemesis. I can't read this guy. I hate and love it. Because Unclebob had a latent item that allowed himself to get protected from one hit, I was thrown off on his guilt. Getting the wrong item and then not questioning it was another problem. I guess I shouldn't try to get away with everything since that almost back-fired. I wish Plugabugz had spoken up and said that the Star and Lightning were switched for the two teams instead of leaving things vague. It made for an interesting ending but I was almost burned by the error.

I also shouldn't have made a joke about being green. That did back-fire. I figured with green dead, people would realize it was just a joke but whatever.

The Dasmos error sucked but at the time, the theories I was working with and the deduction I was going by left Dasmos as a guilty party. It was an error that I regret. All my other mistakes were corrected in time.

In the end, I took out every Red member and the Green Man. I correctly voted out Easycure, Nickmitch, Vudu and Wandering. I targetted Unclebob with the help of Spak's Blue shell, my mystery box, Stevey's banana and my Blue sheel which took him out. I came onto the game expecting to get targetted by items and ended up going through the whole game with no hits and my full 3 points intact. Shift Key would have found this suspicious. I just wish the final vote hadn't been a tie but a united Blue.

And I will be doing another Mario Kart Mafia...in the future.  I think this game was a lot of fun.

Well can we vote on the top 3 best players? I can still give out a prize.  However last game I never gave out one because the top 2 players were Australian and number 3 was me :)

So ya vote top 3. I can give out a VC or WiiWare game valued at 1000 points.

Best player award should go to Stevey.  Wandering did a nice job, too, but there was no way he could come back after his team suffered such a loss at the beginning.

I correctly voted out Easycure, Nickmitch, Vudu and Wandering.

Since I was working with the blue team most of the game I feel a little bit like I still won.  :)

Also, I want to point out that Khush STOPPED me from voting for Wandering on Day 2.

Khush start out good at first but then let way too much slip by the end and almost cost blue the game....

Edit: vote stevey

Almost cost Blue the game. What about all the blue members who voted for me on the last day? That nearly cost all of you the game.

Like I said, this game was nearly great for me and maybe if I had questioned things more it would have been great. I played good enough and that was all that was needed in the end. While things may have been to down to the wire a few times, in the end, the right choice was usually made.

You may argue that Dasmos vote was bad but it had the benenfit of keeping green from winning the game. We were voting Wandering that day and switched to Dasmos. Had we voted out Wandering, and with Unclebob getting killed by the Blue shell that night, the Red team would have been gone with Green winning. The fact that Green could win just with one team eliminated threw both Spak and I for a loop. What can I say? I really didn't read the rules for this game as evidenced by my Day 1 questioning and later actions. I kind of winged it.

Frankly, if there are 3 prizes being handed out, I would just suggest the three remaining Blue players each take a prize as being the winning team. Yet, that might not be the most fair either since there were some good plays but people who got voted out. Vudu and Wandering are both deserving. Especially with Wandering's last day effort.

I would prefer if everyone who played voted but that probably isn't going to happen. In the meantime, if we are picking a top 3, I would go:

1) Wandering. I mentioned before that I had wanted to target him a few times and Vudu knows this to be true. At the end of Day 1, I sent Vudu a message saying I wanted to go after Wandering next and he voted for Wandering the next day. Despite him always being on my radar, I kept getting focused on other players. Then he stole a page from my book. I loved it and hated it at the same time but it was the best fight I had all game and he nearly pulled off a win from a very bad position.

2) Stevey. Yes, stevey. I couldn't have won this game without him. Thanks to stevey willing to use his item the bananas as I asked, it gave me the clues I needed to correct some mistakes, even if they were at the last second. While he always suspects the worst of me, he definitely elevated his play this time and was a good second opinion for Spak-Spang and I to help clear our heads after getting muddled in our own theories. He definitely followed the game and knew what was going on with a lot of players. So, he definitely deserves a vote for his growing prowess at the game.

3) Spak-Spang. I know Spak Spang doesn't want a vote and doesn't think he played well but he made the same mistakes I did and shouldn't hold it against himself. When this game started, he sent me a feeler pm. It's the kind of message of "Hello, how are you? Ready for the game. Any plans?" type message. And rather than worry about what team he is on since I didn't think I would last, I just told him straight away my role and item and started working with him there even if he was on the Red team. (Although I thought he was Green.) Spak is just as responsible as me for voting out all Red players and the Green player along with helping send Unclebob to his doom through items. Plus, for finally turning his vote around in the end and realizing I wasn't betraying him, I think he deserves something in return.

The one thing I learned about this game is that even when I make mistakes, everyone thinks I must be doing something brilliant or schemeing and don't realize it is just a dumb error. I'm also amazed and saddened that no one targetted me with items. What? I'm not a threat anymore?

In the end, I enjoyed this game. It started out a bit slow but it ramped up the excitement in the last few days. Plus, since it was mainly just veteran players in the end, it did get quite tough since everyone left was a good player. I've always wanted to have a game of just mafia MVP's if you will. Even if it was just a small group. I've always been curious what that would be like since you know everyone playing is a good/great player. Who would you target as a higher threat over the other? Would we some really great plays and moves? At some point, I'd want to host a game like that. A special select few. Of course, some people would whine about why they aren't included or why others are. This game was a bit like that. When you look at the list of people playing, it was actually a solid list of good players.

No, two items for the entire game.  To make things even more difficult, neither of my items could actually attack anyone, which made it extremely difficult to get rid of anyone.

A tiny bit late, but....

VOTE STEVEY MVP

I liked this game. I was expecting it to be a game of chance and not feel like mafia at all, and instead there was about as much deducing, strategizing, lying, and backstabbing as you'd find in a normal mafia game.
“...there are those who would...say, '...If I could just not have to work everyday...that would be the most wonderful life in the world.' They don't know life. Because what makes life mean something is purpose.  The battle. The struggle.  Even if you don't win it.” - Richard M. Nixon
