For the hell of it, I decided to watch some videos of AC on the GC and DS, and discovered a lot of surprising things...
- The graphics in the GC version were ASS! The style may be simplem, but the graphics are smooth and clean on the Wii.
- The animalese is lower on the GC version
- The buildings in the GC version were basically boxes with little detail
- I LOVE the camera on the DS and Wii version. The overhead camera on the GC version was annoying (even if it was reminiscent of Zelda)
- In the DS version your house had more upgrades, I believe up to three (you could choose between another room or a basement). The design of the house is different, but I think its because you couldn't have a second, third or fourth house in your village, so it made sense to have a big house for four players.
- In the DS version not only could you get photos from your villagers you could also get photos from the other characters (Nook, K.K. Slider, Pelly etc.). I don't know if this is available on the Wii version...
Its fun seeing how the same concept changes in between versions.
