Between Metal Slug Anthology on Wii and this DS title, Nintendo is the only company to have full representation of the series on its platforms.
Metal Slug 7 will continue the same fast-paced 2D shooting action found in prior iterations of the series. The title features seven new missions ranging from Garbage Island to the Fortress of the Ruins, as well as six playable characters: Marco, Tarma, Eri, Fiolina, Clark, and Ralph. New weapons, bosses, and slugs (the game's term for its iconic tanks) will also help provide players with an all new Metal Slug experience.
Metal Slug 7 will be available in stores this fall on the DS.

Aside from featuring 7 brand new and fully detailed missions and six playable characters, Metal Slug 7 will also feature a host of new weapons, colossal new bosses, new Slugs to pilot and new gameplay modes for added replay value.
