Okay, I actually played the Wii version for about an hour. I've also played and beaten the 360 demo. LET ME SAY, this game is REALLY FUN. The first hour was great.

I suggest ALL to check THE WII VERSION. Excellent controls, was so much fun. It's clear that some real PASSION went into the Wii version. Check it out!

Now the characters so far are kinda bland, and also the use the nunchuck accelerator for something they should have. HOWEVER, force push with the Nunchuck, rules nuts.

YOU PISS POWER for the first hour and you just feel.

Please you guys, check it out, the wii controls are AWESOME.  Way better than using the 360 control pad.  If it were back to that I'd say it's a typical action adventure.

I have to disagree to an extent. The controls are fun, but the actions are very delayed. Some passion may have gone into the controls, but this is obviously a PS2 port. This game should have been delayed in order to use Wii Motion Plus, and it should have been developed by someone who isn't too lazy to just port the game from the PS2. It had a ton of potential, but after playing both versions, and I absolutely HATE to say it, the 360 version is better, if you ask me.

Okay so I was pretty much ready before I played the game to sit down and say the 360 version was better. Then I played it and thought it owned the 360 version. That sucks that you feel otherwise :/

Played through the first half of the game with my cousin tonight. I found the controls to be very good, not delayed at all. The biggest annoyance has been the camera, which likes to get wonky in corners and closeups. The graphics do seem like a PS2 port though. They're not really bad, in fact some of the later levels are very pretty, but you can tell not much effort was put into better textures or lighting for the wii version.
As DAaaMan said, the game is very fun and I loved the first level with Vader. I liked the fact that he didn't have a run. Vader walks into battle like a stone cold killer, blocking blaster fire with his hand. Lots of cool moments, especially killing the bosses.

Play the first level of the 360 version now, it's almost like it's not even the same game. There are walls to destroy, trees, 10 times as many wookies, it's daytime, etc.

Okay, I gave up on this game. Everyone, RENT IT. Do not buy it. I pretty much after the first few levels said f-this. It got difficult enough that restarting just didn't sounds like fun. Since basically you do the same **** over and over again, just with different looking enemies and bosses with different moves.

The boss battles are boring too.

But the controls are awesome, as well as the first level or two.

Don't listen to Mandark, the game is good stuff, and the story gets more interesting half way through. The combat is satisfying enough that repetition isn't an issue. Collectibles are fun and the duel mode is decent.

I would give it a solid 7 so far.

Don't listen to Mandark, the game is good stuff, and the story gets more bad fanfiction-like in appearance half way through.

Fixed.

It's impossible for me to play any Star Wars game without stopping to consider that the events I'm playing through occur in the same reality in which Stinky the Hutt gets kidnapped.

Ok, reviving this thread to say I'm very dissapointed with the game. Knowing what Factor 5 was able to pull off on the Gamecube twice, it would seem like there is some sort of bar for Star Wars games on Nintendo systems.

My God, the construction of the ships are pitiful. Are those thrusters or blue pineapples cut in half? I really wanted to puke.

Darth Vader sucks. Is he so heavy that he can't run?

I'm playing through versions on both the 360 and the Wii. Yeah, its worlds apart and not fair to compare the two, but can't the Wii version be compared to Metroid Prime 3 or Rogue Squadron on GC? Yes, I believe it can.

I'm going to keep going on the Wii just to see if it gets better past the second level or so.

He's got ROBOT LIMBS for a reason, you know. He can jump over twenty feet vertically with no assistance from the Force. I think he can handle a little jog.
