Watch it now before it disappears.
Why must all things be so bright? Why can things not appear only in hues of brown! I am so serious about this! Dull colors are the future! The next generation! I will never accept a world with such bright colors! It is far too childish! I will rage against your cheery palette with my last breath!

Good find.  Tough to make a judgment call on that alone, but it does look promising.

Nice animations.

I like the chick with the twin blades. I was always partial to dual wielding characters like Prince of Persia and what not.

I see a painful amount of generic content.  Another scrap from Capcom's table.

On a sidenote it is very surprising what gets considered "for kids" these days.  I think making a list of what is "for adults" would probably be easier, and might enlighten some onlookers as to the mindset of the mature person.

I classify it for kids, due to the fact that its pretty generic and lacks any subtle jokes or content that adults would appreciate.

Someone with no knowledge of the Mario franchise would probably have the same reaction to a trailer for Galaxy.

Yes and no.  A Mario trailer has a certain magic to it like some Pixar films that transcend space, age, and time.  I guess Mario is God then, not too bad.

That doesn't seem very definitive.  I mean Brain Age is unquestionably for adults, and yet has none of the subtle jokes or "content" (assuming I'm right about what I think you think "adult content" is.)  So's Wii Fit too.

It seems like it's trying to appeal to comic book fans with the generic superhero characters, but overall the design looks like a rejected Sony First Party game circa 2003.  It's got that special kind of focus-tested generic that Jak has.  So it's really got no heart and soul.  Just another thing to lose out the better stuff that has more effort put into it, and possibly another log on the failure fire from a company who purports to "get" the Wii now.

But considering Capcom's stance on Wii support (More titles = better support than 360/PS3), we should be lucky this game even survived, I guess.

This is a surprising change of flavor from the old trailers. Looks like it went from Adult Swim cartoon theme to Jetix (Disney 'cool' action cartoon channel) type stuff.

If the game could pull off a quality 3D Vectorman then I would be happy. Vectorman came to mind when watching this trailer.

HATE the new design of the main characters.  They lack personality, or rather they lack noncliche personality.  I don't think the other designs were much better, but these do feel worse to me.

Another game that could have been....

Gameplay vids at IGN http://media.wii.ign.com/media/142/14251204/vids_1.html

The game looks much more polished now and they seem to have eliminated a few characters (probably for the better) It still does seem pretty generic. Maybe a charismatic villain and some decent writing can help.

It looks nice visually. I like the gameplay.

Since this title is getting so much talk about it around here today I am bumping this.
Basically this game is a co-op beat em up in the vein of TMNT, Double Dragon, and the X-men arcade game.

When this was first shown it had a cartoonish look.People gripped about it and the style was changed to something different.
Peruse the topic for any additional info.

The price just dropped to 10€, GameStop has a 20% discount on Wii games... I still didn't buy it because I don't like beat 'em ups even when they're considered the paragon of their genre (God of War), never mind when they're considered mediocre.

So, I picked this game up at Fred Meyer for $7.99. At that price, you can't pass it up. You should go buy it too.
