800 Wii Points for all 3 races, or 300 each race individually.

Cocoto fishing?

Hmm... it's... very good shovelware. LOL.

It's not so much a fishing game as it is a "fetch me this fish game." And by fetch, they mean catch. And by catch, they mean choose the corresponding bait, cast it into the water, do a simple minigame where you move the bait with the analog stick and keep it in front of the fish, jerk the wii remote at the correct time (which is somewhat tricky: each fish has different timing, and you movement has to be a concise jerk, not a long arcing crazy pull (took me about 25 minutes to figure this out)), then reel the fish in by vigorously weraring out your nunchuk arm, but giving it a rest when the fish fights back.

Rise and repeat. Buy extra fish to buy new rod. Catch uber fish boss with special bait you unlock. Go to new world with the same fish, but different models and textures and rods and skyboxes.

It's really solid at doing exactly what I told you... which isn't very deep at all, but can provide enjoyment if all you want is that simple experience. It's shovelware... and I wish all shovelware was at least this good, and cost only $8.

Hardcore gamers may turn down their nose at it though. To them, I bet Gyrostarr is a much better value. Or maybe just buckle down, and save your 700 Wii Points for something that'll truly get you excited in the future? Like... the first episode of Strongbad might be coming out this month. Hopefully.

Word of warning about some DLC: the dungeons to unlock them can't be beat until considerably later in the game.

But the Library, which promises to teach race specific abilities requires beating a level 40 dungeon... and most other "ability things" I've bought too. Most of this DLC ability stuff is aimed at endgame.

The sacred shrine is actually an okay one. The dungeon to unlock your first one is level 24.

I bought the luxurious house and shrine DLC, the shrine might be of interest since it provides not only buffs but also makes schools offer new abilities (I got lightning spells that way). Yeah, the dungeon is level 24 but the boss is awfully powerful, you need to be a bit above that to really beat him. I powerlevelled a bit to get that thing before triggering a story event, leaving me with a lv26 party when the next regular dungeon is lv21 or so.

Okay another question. I got Bakery+ and now I can build a second bakery. I have 12 houses where I think 3-4 are spacious. How close should I build my bakery to the first one?  All of my buildings are all built around the castle entrance, so nothing is scattered.

Don't go overboard on the Spacious houses. Money maxes out at 9999 and you don't have anything to spend it on. Instead, the spacious houses start using up precious space and your town gets pretty cramped and hard to manage eventually. I bought the luxurious houses (another place that requires a 40 level dungeon to unlock, bah), but I'll never use 'em because I've got enough money and not enough space.

They use less space than small houses of equivalent value. Space saving is the only reason I pick large houses at all.

But that's the problem. "Value" (as in money) aren't the limiting factor in this game. You rarely have a chance to use money...I live my life mazed out at 9999 money and nothing to spend it on. What IS starting to put the squeeze on me is available land. 2X2 buildings and 2X3 buildings are getting harder and harder to find places for, my town is getting more congested and my adventurers take longer and longer to visit all the buildings on their way out of town. Sometimes I see adventurers set off in the evening!

Sure, make some spacious houses, but beware the temptation for a population boom with such houses. My city is starting to feel the ill effects of urban suburbia!

Then why are you floating so much money? I've got most of my stuff at lv45 with my best adventurer group at ~26.

I still don't see your issue with spacious houses. You use LESS space for the same effect (well, fewer adventurers but I've never had that limit me), 2 spaces for 30 income as opposed to 3 spaces if you were using small houses. I also don't see how the population boom causes trouble with your adventrers, don't they just clip right through NPCs anyway?

I don't need the extra money at all!

And I'm starting to worry that when I do unlock the Library, or additional shops or buildings, I won't have the space for them. It's gotten to the point that I've declared a moratorium on house construction in the hopes of saving the few open spaces I have left for the buildings that I haven't yet unlocked.

Taverns are unlocked after beating one of the regular dungeons.  I don't remember what level.

You characters need to level up a bit more.  Mages in particular.

fark, I finally beat this dumb game.  I didn't like it that much. I'd give it a 7/10.

So many things just seemed annoying, look here:

- Did anyone actually read any of the citizen's monologues past like... day 5?
- The slow down was terrible! They elminiated the slowest piece of hardware on a system (the disc), and it's still slow as hell sometimes!  I mean come on, did every speech bubble HAVE wiggle when it opened!?
- The moral system was stupid.  It probably failed at everything it set out to do.  It didn't get me to read anything anyone said AND WORST the length of day only stayed it's longest while you were talking to people regularly! God only knows how many people you actually have to talk to to get it to stay high, but it doesn't matter anyway, because of all that time you wasted talking to all those people you've kill the time you were gaining! It's a wash!
-  The various interfaces sucked all the time, they were CRAP.
-  Lots was not well explained or didn't really seem to work logically.  Example, actually getting a material behest to appear, or whether an adventurer would only buy stuff up to his own level.
-  The empty building spaces were just in stupid places some times.  I mean if it's against a wall and it's two spaces deep the only thing your interested in really building there is shops.  Single homes are practically pointless once you get spacious homes and start racking in elementi(sp??).
-  BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH and other things.
