The link above is about Nintendo's Media Summit which according to Gonintendo is in on Thursday and Friday. I just thought I would post it here beforehand. Any predictions?

The death of gaming is further fueled by the announcement of Wii Music, Wii Brain, Wii Taxes, Wii Dance and any other game aimed at the audience that is too busy to play these games. That and perhaps yet another Mario spin off title...or MP 9.

Alright I am sure you are right about some of those Wii Music, Mp9 but those others are ridiculous. How about from the other side of the fence?

Didn't Reggie say they were going to reveal the lineup at E3? So did he misspeak and really mean this or are we not going to see everything at this?

Reggie will announce that there will be games... and those games will be revealed at E3.

Unbeknownest to everyone Nintendo is actually showing off the Summit that they recently bought.

We'll probably get some June/July release dates for games like Disaster, and HOPEFULLY some confirmed localization of some games already out in Japan, like Soma Bringer...I wouldn't expect much more than that...

Yeah, Japan's only getting it in July, do you really think they'll bring it here that quickly?

I wouldn't expect a ton of new announcements at this thing by any means, but Windy and Aaron will be there and I'm sure they'll come away with some Mario Kart and Wii Fit impressions at the very least.

We might hear something interesting though nothing terribly earthshattering. I remember when Phantom Hourglass was announced out of nowhere at GDC 2006. It'll probably mainly be a Mario Kart and Wii Fit show though I wouldn't be surprised if Nintendo dropped some hints or announced some future titles.

Sure, why not?  The game doesn't appear to be all that text-intensive, and it'd be a good idea to get the game out before bigger games start to spill out around the Fall...I'd be very surprised if the game doesn't come out before September...

Edit:  Well, most material is under NDA until Monday (apparently Disaster info included)...Only major thing known so far is Mario Super Sluggers (new name for Mario Baseball)...
