I voted for cake, Kairon. Mainly because Pie is very rare around here (save for the pre-processed apple pie they sell at Burger King :\ ).

As for the Ninja and Pirates question...too hard. Way too hard. Still thinking about it.

That's actually a good one.

I think that the trick is that they prefer questions that have answers that aren't yes or no. It makes it more interesting than a simple up or down vote. Hmmm....

Here in Canada, cake and ninjas won the majority of votes. I voted for pie and ninjas. I think that cake won in Canada because of the famous cheesecake, but I bet pie will win in the US.

Since we don't have a Everybody Votes Channel thread, I'm hijacking this one.

Anyone still keep up with this channel? Thus far, I've managed to vote in every single poll since the channel launched.

Unfortunately, since I'm about to send my system in for repairs, it seems my perfect voting streak is about to end.

Here are my current stats.

Vote Count: 264
Wins: 200
Losses: 60
Accuracy: 76.9%

I have 477 "tuned in" points and all fields are maxed out except for knowledge (which is just a hair under).

I'm 28 cm from the Popular Opinion.

Can anyone here beat that? (Does anyone even want to?)

i remember i used to be hooked to that channel. My friends and I would always vote and it would be a nice little thing. Than i went to college and dorm didn't like wii going online so i deleted the channel.
the addiction died.
it just seems so pointless.

Ah, so it was Kairon who is responsible for the flood of frivolous questions. I want to see some serious polls about real concerns like the elections and global warming, instead of these questions about cake and pie.

Recently (as in last week) there was a poll about how well you know the presidential candidates. I almost cried when the results showed that less than 50% of Wii owners (who voted) are "familiar with their positions".

You shouldn't conclude like so just because the "Everbody Votes Channel" says so. There is one decisive factor to reach a better conclusion when it comes to know who voted, how old were they.

I got back my Wii today. Since I'm borderline OCD, the first thing I did was install the Everybody Votes channel and check to see what polls I missed. There aren't any polls that show up that I didn't vote in. This means one of two things. Either I timed it right so I didn't miss anything, or the EVC doesn't show you the results of polls you didn't vote in.

I need someone who's been keeping up with the voting to tell me if I'm missing anything in my poll history. This is what I currently see:

Recent Results:

National Poll Results: How many books have you read in the past year?
Worldwide Poll Results: Have you ever been swimming in the ocean?

Poll History:

Do you prefer to take notes ...
Which application would be more useful on a cell phone?

I don't know exactly what you've missed, but I've abstained from certain polls in the past and know for a fact that's what happens.

Is anyone else having problems connecting to the Everybody Votes Channel? (Does anyone else even have it installed anymore?)

I haven't been able to connect to it in almost a week. I can connect via other channels (e.g. Shop, Nintendo Channel, play games online, etc.) but I can't connect to the damn Everybody Votes Channel. I receive error code 109106 but the help they offer doesn't work (nor does it really make sense since I can connect via other channels).

I contacted Nintendo just now and the rep told me that he thought he remembered someone telling him that they were having problems with this channel, but he wasn't positive. So am I the only one who can't connect or are there other voting junkies out there in need of a fix?
