The Real MATLOCK Lag Thread

Tips to not having Lag in Super Smash Bros Brawl online battles with friends:

1. Don't play the fucking Japanese version.

2. See number 1.

I'm in Florida.  You're in Oregon.  That's why there was lag.  Were any voices in yours in Japanese?

I believe, with all my heart, that this is somehow the fault of those who imported. So don't start talking logic with me, I'll have none of it.

Does Caliban have a japenese copy Evan?  Because in the match we had between the three of us I was lagging out like crazy... moreso than when I played Windy (prelaunch).

I don't think he does. You and I were having better luck before he showed up, though, if I remember right.

Can we start talking in code?  Like, instead of saying the ESS-ESS-BEE-BEE word we say MATLOCK and instead of saying FRIDAY ENDOR CODEPENDENCY DESPICABLE we just say HULA-HOOPS.  I can't help but fear that those who have no business in my Fun House will stumble in here while searching for the above coded terms.  And that would defeat the purpose of these threads and totally rain on my elitism.
Why must all things be so bright? Why can things not appear only in hues of brown! I am so serious about this! Dull colors are the future! The next generation! I will never accept a world with such bright colors! It is far too childish! I will rage against your cheery palette with my last breath!

I have the kanadian version. It wasn't lagging for me.

I don't think he does. You and I were having better luck before he showed up, though, if I remember right.

Awwwww. It was my fault.

Oh I know that it isn't completely my fault, but it did get me thinking if Nintendo *cough*gamespy*/cough* either didn't expect for such numbers of brawlers or they just have servers in one centralized geographical location which severly hampers our deserved enjoyment.

Yeah, sadly Cal shows red for me on latency. :(

I hope this improves as Nintendo fixes their servers. I'm doubly pissed since they went out of their way to talk about how great the lag was on the Dojo...

If only the servers were plugged onto Reggie's nipples.

but his nipples let you see into the future, what would that have to do with a lag free connection?
