Has anyone been able to save in "Classic" mode? I always have to start at the first level each time I play.

I don't believe saving is an option there?

I always play it to the end when I do it... so I've never tried.

I didn't think there was, but I wanted to be sure that I wasn't somehow missing the option or that it wasn't saving automatically.

There's no saving in classic mode; you have to beat it in one sitting.

It's the mode designed for one sitting. If you want to play a Smash Bros. game for less than 10-15 min., then just play a VS match.
