Alright. The poll is up. So, now you don't have to worry about sending me a vote and I don't have to worry about tabulating them. Win - win.

Man, I just had another idea for the senator. If 3 of his bills are rejected in a row, there could be a recall poll to decide whether the senator should keep his job or if a random townie should now get it. Maybe next game.

Senator, propose this bill if you ever need something passed easily.

Alright, I'm borrowing my roomie's laptop for about an hour, so I don't have too very long.

I'm voting/voted yes, for good reason, too.  We get an added protection, which means each night, it's possible for the townies to protect three players, about 1/8 of all the players.  Apply logic and reason, and voila!  You get much better odds at saving someone!

The second reason is much better.  The force choke gets two added kills, right?  Well, if I read correctly, he can only use them on people that voted for him, right?  So, basically, the more he kills, the better chance we have to find him out.  If he kills more than one person, he'll probably be pretty easy to spot, right?  Not only that, but I figured out a possible way around being killed:  Debate during the day and perform a mock vote, due some time at night, say 10:30 PM EST.  Whoever is losing that vote at the end should be voted for by everyone, and then, going by that, the force choke won't be able to kill anyone, since he'll either die by the vote or never have been voted for.

I'm not voting yet, because someone may have a very good counter-point, but I think my idea could very well work great.

Edit:  Oops, I voted yes anyways.  Does anyone know if there's a way to change your vote?  Also, anyone who votes and says their vote with absolutely no reason will be shoved onto my "mafia" list. That goes for both yes's and no's.

At any rate, I can't log in to chat on this computer for some reason, so I just won't worry about going there.  I've been updated by one person through PM, so I know a little bit about what's going on, but I must be honest:  Several of you received private messages from me this morning and afternoon, and those messages were lies.  I'm not the force balance.  However, I know who is the force balance, and since part of my goal this game was to see how many lies I could tell to individual people, I volunteered myself, with his/her permission, to go and tell several people I was the force balance.  I told a few people other roles, but for the most part, I said force balance.  As a result, I've connected two more roles to him.  I was going to make the claim in the thread about it, but I figured far too many people would flat-out accuse me of being mafia.

Additionally, as a safety precaution, since I'm probably mafia target numero uno, the force balance is not shifting or guessing a shift of power to me tonight, since odds are, I'll be dead by morning.  I've done my part.  Like Spak says, I move pretty swiftly in mafia games.  I always think that whichever team starts strong has an advantage for the rest of the game.

Oh, and Sessha, I lied to you in the last game.  I wasn't the senator, and we were going to steal your bounty hunter powers that night to kill the mafia with.  That's why I was desparately sending out messages to everyone else saying I was the bounty hunter, so I could manipulate the senator into approving a Bill that would match whatever I told Sessha.

This gives me an idea: How about letting the dead townies vote?  Of course, I mean that to the senator.  That's something that could be useful, although, honestly, after thinking it over, the townies already have strength in numbers, so what they say would probably go anyways.
