So hey, I'm bored, so I want to ask: Are the story strips worth it? Do you guys like them, or was the first one great, and the other two pretty much irrelevant?

I've had some trouble figuring out how to do some things with them, and I really don't want to betray the art and wit in Calvin and Hobbes, so if there's no one looking forward to them each, I figure I might as well not post them, and instead, perhaps just post a funny strip, and let you guys pick out some funny strips, too.

Anyone prefer this idea over how the story is running right now?

I liked the 2nd one, the one with the snowmen. I think a format like that is great, as it's funny and related to the day's events. The third one was okay, but mostly just seemed aimed at repeating what had actually occurred. So I kind of enjoy a more light hearted approach. One that's funny, and can be quasi-related but doesn't need to reiterate exactly what happened. I think short and sweat might be better too, as the second one was.

Oh, and on a unrelated note, I will likely be keeping my vote withheld tonight just so I can throw it out if anyone should bail from voting for Pale at the last minute (and I would remind people that anyone doing so would be seen as highly suspect).

Calvin & Hobbes is so awesome that even if you didn't change the words, the strip would apply to the game. If you're having too much trouble, just post one of the many snowball strips with either calvin and susie, or Hobbes "first president" betraying the club to susie.

Or just post an alien landscape strip. Those are timeless.
