Looked around today but couldn't find it.  I'm probably gonna wait till the weekend so I can drive home and nab my memory card.

BTW nice interview.  I liked the question asking about online play.  Interesting to see that they were looking into it for Vesperia.

I mostly played melee characters since I think the AI does a worse job of handling them than spellcasters (plus there's not enough hotkeys to be a spellcaster without hitting the menu all the time). An AI melee character will close in for a combo or two, then run away and just look at the scenery (at least they did for me).

More hotkeys is good, I was baffled by the choice to leave two of the four c-stick directions unused in ToS.

Can you use the pointer to order other characters around?

"Can you use the pointer to order other characters around?"

Not at all.  The Strategy menu and the traditional positioning/behavior options is retained.

I've spent >4 hours on it so far.  Don't have enough skills to use the shortcuts yet.  By golly, is there a lot of voice.  My non-playstationed ass is not used to this.

Fairly cool video review from Gametrailer but has footage some might consider spoilers
No PAL release date announced.

From what I heard on the GT review, Zelos' voice actor isn't the smooth operator from last time, which is a little lame but maybe Bill will finally embrace the coolest character now that he's pseudo gruff.

I'm only a few hours in (I just arrived in Asgard and had my first run-in with Alice), but so far I'm really enjoying the game...at least once Emil stopped being as much of a total pansy.  I have to say, though, that Marta has to be the easiest girl in the history of the franchise, even taking the crown from Phantasia's Arche (and that's saying something).  I really miss Symphonia's cel-shading, because the game is noticeably uglier without it and looks more like an early-Playstation 2 game than a Wii game.  However, the character animation is leagues beyond even what was present in Tales of the Abyss (and certainly blows away the animation in Symphonia), and my god there's a lot of voice.  The vocal casting is excellent, the script is snappy and genuinely funny, and we finally have what looks like all the in-game skits voice-acting (which makes a world of difference).

The Wii Pointer stuff, though, is nearly useless.  I only use the Phantom Hourglass-style movement when I'm running around a monster-less area and don't feel like using the Nunchuck at the moment.  It's too unreliable to use anywhere else.

I remember watching the JP version on youtube and it seems Emil was only wimpy in the intro dungion. All of the reviews I have seen state that he is like that the whole game.

Any word on who does the Voice Acting for everybody?

Looked around today but couldn't find it.

I went to Best Buy, Circuit City, Mirco-center (place to get computer parts and video games), Toy's R Us, and Target, and either:

A)They didn't have it, didn't show up on their list
B) Available online only.

I begrudgingly went to gamestop where they acted like a bunch of smug bastards saying "All we have are reserve copies, but lets see....we have one last non-reserve copy. You can have it" Excuse me? I should be thankful that you can sell me something? I just paid them and left.

Just got a few hours in, and I'm hooked all over again. Its a case study in dichotomy in comparison to ToS, but it works well with what I've experienced so far. The Gametrailers review is much more fair than IGN's. Don't know what their problem is.

At 40, you could do worse. With Animal Crossing right around the corner, It'll be hard to come between me and my Wii...

Emil is only super-wimpy in the first dungeon from what I've seen, before he becomes a Soul Reaper (yes, that is a play on his voice actor).  He's still a little whiny after that, but nowhere NEAR as bad as the main character of Tales of the Abyss.

As far as Voice Acting goes, there's a lot of familiar voices at play here.  Just off the top of my head, we have Cam Clarke playing the narrator again and Johnny Von Bosche playing Emil.  I know I heard Wendee Lee in there somewhere, too.

I remember hearing that the narrator from Dragon Ball Z does Richter's voice.  Also Collette's voice actor is returning from the first game, Heather Hogan, as well as Presea's, Tara Strong.

I am glad that Presea's and Collete's voice actors have returned. I liked how she was serious and and to the point.Collete I liked as well. I wonder how many times we will hear her apologize.
Jonny Von Bosche I haven't heard in a long time. Cam Clark I liked his voice in TOS. I am sad that he is only in the beginning.I guess I could play TOS again.

Lloyd who voices him? Also who voices Alice?

Hmmm I am debating if I should grab this from Gamestop or wait for Walmart and Target.I don't want to give Gamestop my business.

Jonny Von Bosche I haven't heard in a long time.

It's Johnny Yong Bosch, and he's in every single anime in existence.  Also the original Black Ranger.  :)

Scott Menville.  He's almost always "Additional Voices."  Other than ToS, I think his only big lead part has been Robin on Teen Titans.

I see.  When I once saw the original Power Rangers on his credits list I figured that meant he was the first one.

I find it fun to pick out familiar voice actors' voices, which led to me learning several names as I looked for confirmation.
