Games for my Parents?
« on: December 09, 2007, 05:29:45 AM »
Okay, I need some help on this. Last year my parents bought a Wii for themselves after playing and having a blast with Wii Sports on my Wii. This really surprised me, because they used to consider any games other than board/card games to be a waste of time; they both really like Wii Sports though.

It's been almost a full year now with them only having that one game, and I'd like to get them a new game or two for Christmas. I've thrown out Super Mario Galaxy, because my mom gets motion sickness when there is too much movement on the screen (this goes back to Mario 64 and the original Sonics).

I would like to hear some suggestions on some games that my parents would enjoy. Brain Age maybe? Is that even fun?

I've seen Wiiplay and Carnival Games be a big hit with the older crowd.

Brain Age gets boring if you're like me, but a more patient person would certainly get more out of it.

Wii play seems like a great idea. I'll have to look into Carnival Games. Thanks for the ideas.

Surprise your parents Iggy. Get them Trauma Center: New Blood. It's co-op, there's no movement, it's got a story like a medical CSI, good voice acting, and it's NOT a mini-game collection. It's different. It's new. It may be just what the doctor ordered.

Great suggestions everyone. I'll probably get Big Brain Academy, but I was very surprised by Trauma Center. Before my mom had me, she was studying to be a nurse. So that might be the best idea ever. Thanks guys.

BTW, Crimm, I'm captivated by your suggestion. In the 8th picture she has a 5 hit sensual combo? Lol

No such thing as a bad Tamsoft game if you're buying it for the intended reasons.

Hopefully I'm not too late, but Smarty Pants is a game most people will really enjoy.

Surprisingly, they've made quite a few games that don't revolve around boobs or anything!
