Well I was at work all day dying for the clock to hit 5:00. But there is a problem....my car is in the shop getting the EMS System Tuned for racing...so I have no car. Well I conviced a friend at work to take me home and much to my surprise my Girlfriend was home and offered to take me to GameStop to pick up the game!!!! Yes

Ok so we get there and the guy knew what I wanted. He handed the game over and asked for my ticket for holding the game. He also offered me the Strategy Guide at 30% off...hell I might as well so I picked that up to.

On the way back my Girlfriend said are you going to be playing that game all day...."I answered yes...why?" Well she had some important things to do in Animal Crossing so she convinced me to let her play AC for 10 minutes before I start the game up. I figured it would be ok cause I need to eat anyway. So I am eating and reading through the game manual and finally the time comes.

I threw the disk in and help down the B button in case you have to initialize Progressive scan for my T.V. The Title Screen came up and I felt so much joy. First off there is only one way to play this game and Metroid...and thats on a 57 inch Widescreen HDTV! Man this game looks so so awesome.

Ok so I didn't get that far last night...mainly because I keept playing with Link and making him do funny things. I also sat still for long periods of time to see what he would do.

My only problem now is that I have to go get a GameBox Advanced now, and share the game with 2 others. My Girlfriends wants to play and another friend wants to play. I got the Tinker thing and I am dying to use him. You should have seen all my friends faces last night watching the game on the HDTV.....so many people commented on how awesome the graphics are...I swear its like watching a cartoon.

Amazing game so far.  The story is strangely very engrossing for me.  I wasn't that drawn in to OoT...but for some reason, I really feel a sense of urgency in saving my sister.  So far, things are good...I am at that merchant island now.  The fortress of darkness was an interesting level.  Not too much combat, but the fire effects look so awesome in the cel shaded technique, i love how the lanterns swing and the fire swings with it as well.  Amazing stuff.  The training on your home island in sword play was hilarious man

ARGH!  The unbearable anticipation!  Our postal system is too inefficient. . . I may not get my game until Monday or Tuesday. . . Friday, if'n I'm lucky, but then I'll be gone until Saturday afternoon, and then I'll be leaving Saturday evening and I won't be able to play until Sunday.  I'm going to lead a life of good from now on because I realize this is what Hell will be like!

Oh, and how do you guys like the sailing in the game? I don't know what it is, but I thoroughly enjoy it!! The music when you're sailing is absolutely perfect!

***POSIBLE SPOLIER***

Getting the Master Sword and exploring the ruins of Hyrule Castle, with the classic Link to the Past castle music playing in the background, is so far the best moment I've had playing this awesome game!

This game freaking rocks.  This is my first real break since I got the game earlier today.  I have just set out for the third dungeon, and I am thinking I should get some sleep.

I am REALLY liking this game though.  It's the first Zelda game with an honest to goodness story that is both exciting and deep.  To me it feels like a Skies of Arcadia/Zelda blend, which makes my knees weak just thinking about.  I didn't know the ocean was THIS big when I started playing, and I am LOVING it.  Setting sail for uncharted waters/skies is what I live for.

The characters are also drop dead gorgeous.  I can't begin to describe how nice everything looks, and how much atmosphere and emotion is present in every scene.  The dungeons are well designed...

*SPOILER ALERT* (Minor)

and it dawned on me for the first time exactly WHAT the dungeons and world were when I was in Forest Haven...  I almost started crying.  It was just so well done, and so subtle...  I loved it.  It's truly a great sequel to my favorite game in the series.

Screw going to bed.....  I am going to finish the current quest.  I need to explore some more of the ocean too.

Many may disagree, but i think this tops zelda, and natas, i am gonna come over and borrow your tv, my heart stopped beating when i thought about the blue water with the white ripples on an hdtv.  It most be beautiful.  BTW, my Girlfriend only plays animal crossing to, but she was getting into zelda, i think she will eventually wanna play it.  Imagine zelda as your introduction to the gaming world.  But yes it is my favorite in the whole seies to the Nth F-ing degree and the further.  I just couldn't believe how perfect it was.  By the way, those without GBA connection get it, Tingle HAS MADE ME LAUGH TILL I CRIED

**Tingle Spoiler....not really**
Did you read the part in the second dungeon on the tingle tuner when it said "Tingle can not read through all the tears."  I woke my brothers up.  i laughed and laughed.

Hey RahXephon, you know what's ironic is that The Legend Of Zelda A Link To The Past Was the first game my dad bought for me. It was so long ago and I still remember it. He bought it at walmart and it came in a bundle with the Super Nintendo. It was the game that got me hook to gaming. Ever since then I've played games like it was a real thing. I almost think I live to play games.

But so far on my Wind Waker experience I'm getting flach backs of A Link To the Past. This really is an age of gaming heaven we live in.

To all trhe sailing questions, i agree, it is just so much fun.  I  line up with the wind, then drop sail and rocket off super fast.  And the little islands are fun to randomly run into.  I am actually disgusted by the way this game didn't get all perfect tens.  There is nothing that can match this, theres just no way.  I loved Ocarina and LttP, buth this is something totally diffrent.  I am actually, for the first time ever, afraid to play because I desperately dont want this game to end.  I keep saving in the middle of The 2nd dungeon so i can go through it all over again.  If this doesn't get game of the year, i may just lose my mind.
By the way, about the cel-shading.  I loved in from first second.  I just knew they were gonna do something that would look so VIVID AND ALIVE.  I Actually think it is the most realalistic game ever, becuase everything seems to belong to the world it is in.  The world does not at all seem fake.  I almost feel like it is somewhere out there, but i cant see it.  Video games are like a thousand piece puzzle, where you can get the picture out of it with out putting it all together.  Most games do just that, they put the pieces together enough so that there is a clear view of what it is to be "experienced", yet there are always things missing.  I BELIEVE ZELDA WW IS THE FIRST GAME TO COMPLETE IN IN PERFECTION THE PUZZLE, AND PRESENT US A PICTURE SO COMPLETE THAT AT FIRST GLANCE IT BECOMES LITTERALY BREATH-TAKING.  I wish i could play now, but i got major major school stuff.  My grades are bad due to pokemon and skies of arcadia.  SO now with zelda here, i am trully afraid to play.  I havent slept in a week....   ZzZ...ZzZ...ZzZ...

I am afraid to end it as well, but I just can't stop advancing the storyline.  I want to see what happens next, I want to get more items, and I want to see more of the Great Sea.

RahXephon, I have a GBA, but I don't have a link cable yet, and I only have $10 left to my name, and that has to last me like 2 weeks.  I don't think I will be buying one this time through the game.  Next time through, I intend to find absolutely everything that I missed, and use Tingle from the get go.

And yes, I agree that the game just FEELS right, and is astoundingly complete.  I cannot wait for the next Zelda to come out now, even though I am not done this one.  It had damned well better be cel shaded again.

I will sit by myself and cry when I finish this game.

I will not love another game like this.

It will be tough for Nintendo to top anything like this. =/

I will be right there with ya when I finish the game.  It's supposed to be a time of happiness when you finish the game... but this one just shouldn't end.

Guys, I think that there are only 2 groups of people who will not like the Wind Waker, Fanboys and people who just aren't into this type of game.  I think that most casual gamers up to gaming enthusiasts will enjoy this game.  I've played about 12 hrs since I got this game on Monday.  This is why I admire Shiggy Miyamoto so much.  The ways he produces this game is that it's not just a game, but a masterpiece.  It seems that the more I play it, I more I love this game.  It is a game of epic proportions along the lines of Star Wars and Lord of the Rings.  It's just an amazing game, it's not played, but experienced.
