Topic: I need help with my Nintendogs

I was up to 5 dogs and something happened (I'm not sure what) - but everything erased and I'm back at the beginning.
Can anyone help me on how to get back to where I was?

How long did you neglect your pets? They run away if you ignore them for too long.

Hi -
The dogs weren't neglected...they were fed, given water, walked......everyday.   (It's actually my son) - He was taking care of them constantly.   then one morning he turned it on and it warned that the entire game was being deleted and there was nothing he could do - everything was gone.   It started him back at the beginning of the game.
What was weird - was that it remembered some of his information - but totally wiped out the dogs.

Do they have siblings?

If yes, then mystery solved!

Otherwise it sounds like he erased his own game, likely on accident.  One of those "click yes for yes" moments.
