I was thinking of possibly buying webspace to create a forum and making it home for the Official Nintendo Hawtness thread. Thats all I would have there and it wouldnt be banned ^-----^ Would people even be interested if I made it, or would it be a waste?

I've had this idea before and am all for it. The only reason that it doesn't exist is that I haven't sprung for webspace and I'm not about to. So you should do it. Needs a futaba script image board plz.

Hmmm interesting, to be truthful Ive never worked with forum software before, the only thing I have done web wise is design flash based websites. I thought a generic forum would cut it . . .

Holy cow. Popular imageboards can consume up to 18 TB each month! So says wiki.

Darkheart, I can help with scripting but it probably wouldn't be too difficult. Most boards are just plug and play with a config file to change branding.

You could possibley constrain image size and disable hotlinking.

And the forum that SUPER is talking about does not have a member list, just an odd type of user/password encryption that allows you to maintain a forum identity without the use of a user database. You could forgo that and go with a required membership in order to view/post images. That should keep Google and lurkers out of it.
