Would anyone by chance know if any of the music so far mainly the brawl theme are availible in mp3 format?

I haven't heard of them being available, but if you like them that much, get this program: MP3MyMP3

It's free, and it records the sound coming from your sound card directly and digitally.

You could start a video/song/whatever and then tell this thing to record.

Boom. Instant MP3.

The main theme was available before the Dojo redesign. I'm sure someone's hosting it somewhere.

BUMP!

i couldnt resist and i downloaded the brawl soundtrack torrent. I knew it was big but... 312 tracks!?!?! normally i dont like downloading anything that i wont immidiately purchase later but.. i just had to do it for this game. i knew there'd be too many good tracks that wouldnt make it onto an official release (see twilight princess official soundtrack + master sword replica. it didnt even have zeldas lullaby! wtf?)

i havent listened to everything yet but so far everything i've heard has been epic. every time i listen to a knew track i keep thinking of that dojo quote "maybe i'ev gone a little overboard with this game" or something like that. i just cant believe how awesome it is. It blows melle's soundtrack out of the water.

has anyone else gotten a whole on this bad boy, or should i feel guilty for STEALING MUSIC?

I've been listening to it for the past 3 weeks or so. You're late to such awesomness. Enjoy it to the fullest.
However there is one bad thing about the soundtrack that I really never liked even from the game it belongs to. It's the KK (Animal Crossing) songs. I only don't like KK's songs. The rest is fine to bliss.

i dont care if im late to the party, im just happy i gave in and downloaded the damn thing. it truly is the best soundtrack EVAR. i'm loving all the classic zelda tunes and most of the donkey kong stuff. the original brawl music freaking rocks.

my only complaint is the original songs used, deflino plaza for example, or gerudo valley. i already have those mp3s but oh well. its not like the other 300+ tracks arent just.. devine

oh and downloading this spoiled me so i went ahead and got the full Zelda TP soundtrack (stupid official one i bought..) as well as Mario Galaxy and the Metroid Prime Trilogy.

I find myself both loving the OST and feeling a tad miffed at it.

First, yes, the selection of tracks is astounding to say the least. I was surprised by some really weird but very pleasing song selections. I am LOVING the Mario remixes in this game. In my opinion, I think they are the best in the whole soundtrack, and the ones filled with the most imagination.

If you don't like ANY of the songs in the soundtrack then either your standards are set way too high or don't get a kick out of game soundtracks.

On the other hand, when compared to the Melee soundtracks the songs feel like they are missing something. They lack the heart and bounce the Melee OST had and thus may be more forgettable in the long run (save for a few clever remixes here and there).

Overall, though, it is a delightful soundtrack and thanks to My Music you can pretty much select what you want to hear and turn off the stinkers.

I'm sorry but what are your talking about? Brawls soundtrack is better then Melee's in everyway possible. Melee's was great, but Brawl just took it to the next level in both quality and quantity.

Hell, the 12 Kirby songs in Brawl alone give it the greatest soundtrack ever. Then when you add in all the Mario, Zelda and Star Fox songs, no other soundtrack even compares. And then you add in the rest but it's just overkill at that point.

There were some great songs on Melee's soundtrack, but Brawl's much better, and most of the Melee tracks are back in the newer game anyway. "Heart and bounce" my foot.
