No it is not S_B's fault unless he actually posted the photos. It was whoever the jerk was that posted the messages. And if it was a duplicate account user I hope they find the person and ban him permanently. That is such a dick thing to do. Hey guess what if you don't want to see a thread conversation continue just stop going to the thread. Don't throw disturbing images on a kid friendly site.

It stemmed from someone having a problem with S_B feelings on Snake's neck snap. But it was by no way his fault it was just horrible

I feel bad that the intended target, me, was missed and others had to see it instead. Sorry, folks.

I've surfed 4chan before so nothing bothers me anymore.

Ironically, had whoever posted it just waited another day, I would have seen the Sonic update and forgotten about the Snake snap and the thread would have died anyway. God knows, I've spent too much time arguing it when it's clear the discussion is going nowhere...

Glad I missed it. I assume the mods can tell who was behind it from the IP address, so we'll have to keep an eye out for anyone mysteriously never logging in again after last night.

They'd probably be smart enough to go to a different location, like logging in from a library or something, before creating the dupe and posting it.

...Unless I managed to piss someone off so badly that they'd kamikaze their account in a failed attempt to lash out at me. They're an idiot either way.

Well my sleuthing came up empty. I think because his posts were erased no IP addresses are logged. /sigh.

Also, I'm still scarred from Piac's insanity of forever ago.

I'm just sorry they didn't choose to come after me directly and spare the boards from it (like I said, I never even saw it. The most disturbing thing I saw in the thread was that pic of Chris Farley).

Odd as it sounds, I can't think of a better complement to receive in an argument. Posting pics like that is basically saying "I hate you enough to attack you with filth but I'm even MORE afraid of you so I'll do it anonymously instead of confronting you about it." It's a desperation move through and through.

Couldn't you just check the banned user list and get the IP from there?

Banned user list doesn't synch up banned IPs with banned users. And sadly, it's too insanely long to use any sort of process of elimination.
