I was thinking about this..what if you could play as a Mii as a character..they could shoot out fireballs that have customizable skins ala F-zero.

Can you shoot out customizable fireballs?  Then why should your Mii be able to?
Why must all things be so bright? Why can things not appear only in hues of brown! I am so serious about this! Dull colors are the future! The next generation! I will never accept a world with such bright colors! It is far too childish! I will rage against your cheery palette with my last breath!

I think playable Miis are a possibility, but I'd guess that generic attacks are more likely than customizable ones.

It was "Video Land", and your NES gun doesn't work? I've modded mine, as well as an NES controller belt with a flux capacitor to do that jumpy/runny/pausy thing.

All seriousness aside, I would imagine it would be difficult for Nintendo to justify the ability to shoot your little sister's likeness with Snake's rocket launcher or a Sonic Spin Attack. Then again you can box your little sister's likeness in Wii Sports, so it may happen still.

The final unlockable character will be Miyamoto's Mii

Here's how I worked it out: The game will clearly ask you to create a save file for the game. When you do, it will ask for your name and if you want to assign a Mii to the save file. When its time for the Mii to get unlocked the game will use the Mii you assigned and voila! The Mii is a playable character!

I still say they should just attach your Mii head to the Animal Crossing main character...It'd make more sense and kill two birds with one stone...

my mi idea was this...the character has like a set of moves..like kick jump, double jump, and fireball...but how that fireball looked depended on how you painted it. As most of you know...my mii looks like my avatar

or maybe mr game and watches second skin is a mii!

I can't even begin to think how customizable fireballs would work and why they would ever be considered for inclusion.

Notch another fine example of posting up for ThePerm.

Wouldn't "painting" be more in tune with an Animal Crossing character, not a Mii? Also, your ideas are beyond retarded.

I'd like a Mii fighter that you control entirely by picking up with a disembodied hand and flailing around, like in the Mii and Everybody Votes Channels. It'd be amazing, I'm sure.

B - swings a tennis racket up in front of the Mii, catching any projectiles it hits into the air in above of it. Press B again at the height of the projectile's arc to serve the projectile back at its owner
Toward B - Mii pitches a baseball forward
Down - B - Mii rolls a bowling ball along the ground in front of it. Hold B to charge up more speed
Up - B - Mii throws a vicious uppercut, carrying Mii high into the air (recovery move)

Toward smash - strong right/left cross
Down smash - swing a baseball bat down onto the ground in front of you
Up smash - swing a golf club over your head

Final smash: Mii Parade. Hundreds of Miis drop onto the level from above and swarm the level, damaging players they bump into.

just because it hasn't appeared in a previous Nintendo game doesn't mean they can't innovate new ideas into the game. My idea for the fireball merely comes from Miis not having any recallable traits.
Captain Falcon and Starfox pre-smash bros were characters confined to vehicles.

the fireball thing is more of a parody of other fighting games, as alot of games contain pretty much the same characters with palette swaps.

Ryu & Ken
Sub-zero & Scorpion
Mario , Luigi, and Dr. Mario

alot of Nintendo Wifi games have featured paint style customization
mario kart and animal crossing to name a few. So its not too far fetched.

The Miis are a culmination of years of Miyamotos research with Stage Debut, which arguably was in even better form on 64DD. Which allowed all sorts of customization.

98% of all the speculation on this board is pure, 100%, grade-A idiocy.

Why single out perm for his?

I like the idea, for what it's worth. A Mii character isn't a bad idea, per se, but I can see how it would be weird, perhaps even too weird for Smash.

God how i wished the 64DD came to the states. First time i heard of Talent studio i was floored, it was an amazing concept and i couldnt wait to play it.

i never actually saw it in video form, i still have the np issue with a few screens of it (and the mario artist series discs), the textures look pretty good for an n64...

i actually like it better than the mii's

maybe one day we'll finally be able to upload our face's onto a nintendo game, like we should of been able to do since Perfect Dark.

Ah ha ha, Bowser moonwalking.
A Mii character would be okay...or how about a Mii feature that lets you replace the characters' heads with your Mii's head?

Edit: Ha ha, Kirby or Pikachu with a Mii head, stupidest idea ever.
That's my opinion, not yours.
