Topic: MP3 - Stuck in the mines!

So I am stuck on the pirate homeworld pazon mines. I went into a room called 'mine lift' and there are two spinners. I spun both of them and thought the floor would move or something but nothing happened. Did I do something wrong or did I find a bug in the game? I think I might have to restart my game.

Did you forget to scan the floor?  X-ray scan?  Shoot something?

Nope everything has been fully scanned. There just two deactivated spinners and a floor that I think was meant to move after I did the spinners and I have shoot everything worth shooting in the room. I am at a totally lost at what to do. It was a great game up until this point.

You described that you spun the spinners and "nothing happened."  What do you mean?  Did the game acknowledge both spinners were completely used?  Was there a "puzzle solved" jingle afterward, but with no mini-cutscene?

If you go back into each spinner, does it let you try spinning again?

ok, other people on the internet have come across this glitch, and it's bad news.

1) If you saved AFTER finding out the floor "did nothing", your save file is dead and you're completely stuck there.

2) If you have a save PRIOR to ever attempting the puzzle, there's a chance you can retry it and move on.

Apparently it's an issue with the way the game loads cutscenes, and completely forgets to load this particular one.

Have you tried leaving the Pirate Homeworld completely, visit another planet, then comeback to the Homeworld and see if the game makes the proper change?

I have saved since it happened. It looks like my save file is dead.  Thanks for the detective work.
