True story.
« on: September 15, 2007, 03:36:03 AM »
I was going through my Wii Friend Code list today to update it, etc.  I decided to update VGRev (i.e. VGRevolution) to her current name, Golden Phoenix.  Unfortunately, her name is stupidly long and won't fit in the Wii's horribly short 10-character limit.  So I went with Golden P.  After I paused for a few seconds to laugh I decided to go with G Phoenix.  True story.

On a similar note, last year when I was entering everyone from the forums I got stuck on Couch Monkey for a while.  At first I went with C Monkey but eventually settled on Couch Monk.

Regardless, I hate long handles that can't be easily abbreviated.
Why must all things be so bright? Why can things not appear only in hues of brown! I am so serious about this! Dull colors are the future! The next generation! I will never accept a world with such bright colors! It is far too childish! I will rage against your cheery palette with my last breath!

I shortened couch monkey to CouchMonky, then a friend saw it and read it as Cooch Monkey and that it was perverted.

I like the Buddhist connotations behind "Couch Monk".
"OK, first we need someone to complain about something trivial. Golden or S_B should do. Then we get someone to defend the game, like Bill or Mashiro. Finally add some Unclebob or Pro666 randomness and the thread should go to hell right away." -Pap64

Did you send one to me and if so when?  I think your name is grayed out on my list.

I just called GP Golden. And everyone I know from the forums I stick an * at the end of their names.

Sadly, I haven't played any MP3 since Saturday.  I'll try to get some play time in tonight.
