The game has two segments, Day and Night. During the day, people generally discuss, both in the open and through private means, others in the game, strategy, and this type of general things. Deals can be made, lies can be told, and trust can be built. Also, during the day, every single player is intended to vote, or publicly choose to abstain to vote, in the day's thread. At the end of the day, the votes are tallied by the host, this time, Stevey, and whoever received the most votes killed by an angry townie mob containing everyone. His or her wallet is checked, and we find out what he/she did for a living/the person's role.
After the day comes the night. The night is generally quiet. Most players who have received roles will have actions they can use during the night. An investigator can check the role of a player of his/her choice. A doctor can usually protect a player from the night's actions, and so on, and so on. We do not yet know the role breakdown of this particular game. One or both mafias will be allowed to hit at the night, usually, I believe they alternate every other night. This kills the player of their choosing.
As mafia, your goal is to kill the townies and the other mafia, while not being discovered. You'll want to keep your identity a secret, while silently eliminate the players who are a danger than you.
As a townie, your role is to discover and vote out the members of the mafias, while learning who your allies are at the same time. In this particular game, proving your allegiance will be difficult, as Stevey is not allowing users to identify themselves in a manner that would be considered trustworthy.
