I hope they make a return too. I was never good at playing them, but I'd hate to see them gone just because a lot of people seem to dislike their stage. (I totally dig that scrolling stage though, hehe!)

Anyways, they're my favorite, and I think they're my best, but it's a little hard to tell. I can't play at a competitive level, I tried once, at a contest that people from all over the state showed up to, and really, I didn't win much, though I did alright. I'm better than JonK from Starmen.net, though. I beat his Ness several times. I never did email him like I meant to, though. I can do a little bit of wavedashing, but I'm not able to slide a smash with it very well. I did start picking up some combos the week before the competition. One of my favorites is to grab with Popo, then use the down special w/ Nana, throw, and grab again, even if it doesn't work perfect.

Yeah, they're pretty fun and they control differently, so I think it'd be a shame if they were out. I have a feeling they're bringing back all the non-clone Melee fighters, but don't want to confirm that so there's some surprise when they announce them.

I'm surprised he didn't at least make some attempt to show how they've been updated. They look exactly the same as before, but now they have odder textures.

I was never a fan (original game sucked, the characters sucked in melee, the level sucked in melee, and their moves have no logical basis in the game they come from) so I wouldn't have been sad if they had been dropped. I'm kind of ambivalent.

Well, I meant the "playing as two people at once" gimmick. It's a neat gimmick, but it has nothing to do with the game "Ice Climber."

Well Ice Climber was basically meant to be played by two players. Which is probably why they decided to have both of them in Melee instead of just Nana or Popo.

I want the evil seals to make some appearance, hopefully as an assist trophy! the States and their obsessive PC never saw them, but I loved hammering them down to death, those bastards! they were evil!

With the inclusion of the devil from devil world, I see the seal appearance more likely.

Hmm, I think their final Smash should be summoning a mountain onto other players. Or something like that. You know, you grab the Smash Orb, use the correct button, and all of a sudden, a mountain smashes on top of a nearby player. That would be awesome. Not an avalanche, but something more along the lines of Everest. Or at least, Kilimanjaro.

Although, as an after thought, I'd like it if they summoned two 8-bit versions of themselves, and all of a sudden, you'd have four Ice Climbers instead of two. That would rule pretty hard, too.

Man, with only one game to draw from, it's hard to imagine what the Ice Climbers could use as a final smash. Maybe they could cause cloud platforms to appear and turn any level into a forced-scrolling climb like their Melee level.

Final Smash = they summon that giant condor from the end of the level, grab onto it's talons and fly around like crazy.

This is something that would be awesome as an item for any character, every character has a sprite counterpart so far, right?

Also, isn't therea pterodactyl at the top? if its a condor is nothing alike.

Supposed to be a condor, I'm fairly sure.

Wikipedia agrees, and there are way more Google results for "Ice Climber" condor than "Ice Climber" pterodactyl.

The plot of the game seems to be that the condor stole your veggies.

As for the sprite idea. Ike doesn't, and Fox only sorta does. Also some have really fancy ones like Diddy which would kinda defeat the novelty of such an item. What exactly would this form do, anyway? It would be kinda pointless if it were just like Super Paper Mario's, since you can basically already do that.
