Sorry for bumping the thread but I had a weird idea last night...

What if Ryu Hayabusa (from the Ninja Gaiden series) was chosen to represent Tecmo in Brawl?

If you analyze it Ryu is far worthy to be in Brawl than Snake is:
- There are three Ninja Gaiden games on the NES
- The SNES features the remakes of said games
- Ninja Gaiden 1 is already available for the VC
- In Super Swing Golf 2 you can dress up your character as Ryu

And most important of all...
- There's a brand new Ninja Gaiden game that is going to be a Nintendo exclusive

Ryu is Tecmo's main mascot and even though he has appeared on the XBOX, 360 and PS3 he's never been associated to one platform or company, making his appearance in Brawl more logical than Snake's.

In fact, at the risk of sounding stupid, Ninja Gaiden DS could be Tecmo's end of the deal for letting Ryu in the game...
