Wow, what an update. To see that they were actually able to get 4 player online in this game just blows me away.

Of course I'm not as excited right now because I have no internet connection in my apartment because I can't really afford one at the moment, so the update doesn't really affect me at the moment. But sometime in the future when I have the money to afford one, then I'll join the rest of you in the celebration.

They all have a light amount of polygons compared to our favorite characters. Either there will be a ton of them on screen at once, or the adventure mode has multiplayer. Possibly online co-op multiplayer?

Can P2 be Gooey? A helper? You do start as Kirby, after all...

Speaking of Kirby, this update makes it seem like you'll be playing as specific characters in specific areas. Why? Because otherwise Kirby would be able to copy all these enemies, right? And I don't see that happening.

The most I'm hoping for is a couple more branching paths, as in the Petey Piranha update.

Might be they'd neuter Kirby, but it just seems more logical they've picked a succession of characters for you.

Either way, I blame every single limitation of adventure mode on the inclusion of online. Kirby should be able to copy everybody, and you should be able to play as anybody you like, and the cutscenes and bosses should be character-specific, and the adventure should be infintely deep, feature-rich and wonderfully different every time you play it. I hope when you all play this game you think of how much better adventure mode could've been if people hadn't brayed and clamored for Sakurai to waste his time killing virgins.

No, but then Koopa Troopas, Goombas and Redead didn't have unicycles, scythes or candy in their pants.

If you could steal the abilities of the normal enemies in the Subspace Emissary it would suck because you could never use those abilities in the main part of the game, i.e., multiplayer. I can see each basic enemy giving you a specific playable characters copyable ability, but I think that is as far as it would go.

I am with Bill in the fact that Poppant is the coolest enemy in the game... unless there is some way to beat up on the dog from Duck Hunt, PETA be damned.

I'm still holding hope that the storyline will play like Odin Spheres. (Which is excellently done.)

They could just address Kirby gaining powers like they do in his games. Where he has about 6 or so and those are what the enemy gives.

Also its cool to see some of the different areas.

In the actual Kirby games, there are plenty of enemies that give you the "Nothing!" power.

What I find hilarious about this guy is the fact that Sakurai stated he was introducing some of the more powerful ones and the second one is considered a coward and runs away. Boy, I guess if he actually stayed and fought we'd be no match for him.
