Cooking Mama 2!!!

Wow! How did we miss this? It takes a distributor announcement to tell me that the sequel is real?

And also, this is amazing if the numbers being tossed around for the game's sales in that thrad are real. Cooking Mama Wii sold 150k? On the DS... 400K? Those must be worldwide figures... but still, they're phenomenal for a Taito game that... objectively now... cuts A LOT of corners!

Actually, it's pretty common for Euro publishers 505 and Rising Star to announce what games Taito Japan are working on now! =3 Most of their DS and PSP stuff gets released over there months before Japan. I.. didn't like Cooking Mama, really. But if it keeps Taito alive then whatever, hurray!

Wouldn't this technically be Cooking Mama 3? The original DS one, then Cook Off for the Wii, then this one.

Cook off was pretty much a remake of the DS game with some extra features, if I am not mistaken.

This time, Mama's serving up dinner to a group of 9 friends, who I imagine judge the dishes Iron Chef style!

Cooking Mama: Cannibal Unite! You get to learn how to cook human flesh and prepare it in a variety of dishes. Now that's a hardcore game!
