SP Graphics better
« on: March 22, 2003, 09:21:26 AM »
Yesterday I purchased a GBA SP at my local Toys 'R' Us.  I got home and popped in MarioKart: Super Circuit.  The front-lit screen really emphasizes the bright/colorful graphics of the system.  Not only was I more immersed in the game, but I felt it made the game that much better.  Anyone else have this experience?  I was also thinking this could affect ,although minimally, the reviews of certain games.  Thoughts?

Edit: PS, I know that the sytem is the exact same (except front-lit screen and battery), no enhancements, so please don't yell at my "lack of knowledge."

Now Playing: I-Ninja (GC), Pokemon LeafGreen (GBA), Nintendogs (DS), Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour (GC)
Just Finished: Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker (GC), Paper Mario: Thousand Year Door (GC) Legend of Zelda: Minish Cap (GBA)
Need money for: Advance Wars: Dual St

This one seems  to be more of a dust magnet than the first.  I don't have any dust under my screen, but it does pick up a lot of dust as the day goes by.

Are you keeping your SP closed? i've got the import and always keep it closed when not in use, and in a felt pouch when it's in my pocket. It hasn't developed any dust or any other problems.
