We all know that the "release date" for zelda: ww is march 24th. my question is what day do you actually think it will hit the streets? games never seem to get released on a monday, prime was scheduled for the 18th of november, and we all know we had to wait the extra day which sucked big time. im just hoping that z:ww is sitting in stores now or will be come the weekend so EB can give me a call monday morning to come pick it up. i have waiting!!!

My pre-order ticket says March 26 2003, (I live in Canada), and if my game isn't there bright and early on Wednesday morning.... I am going to go postal and cry at them in my most watery sobs. That will teach them.

Depends were you live. The shipping date is the 24th so stores on the west coast will likely have them on the 24th since Nintendo ships from Washington. Since it is Zelda, they might ship it this weekend.

I was at my local EB the other day and they said it would be available on the 25th.

I went to my local Funco store Tuesday to verify I was all paid up on Zelda. I asked them if the 24th was still firm, and they said to expect the call earlier than Monday. The kid couldn't elaborate, but considering I got my bonus disc from them about three days before it was supposed to "officially" hit the streets, and they kicked out Metroid Prime a day early, too. I say sometime this weekend could be a good bet for some of us.

My local Babbages says it'll get WW in late Monday night. From what I understand, several of the stores in the big cities will get their's before some of the smaller stores do.

my local gamestop where i preordered just called me this afternoon and said i could come pick it up. Gotcha!!! ok they did call and say they will have a samlll amount available for preorders on monday, but the rest will be available on tuesday. they suggested i call early afternoon before driving up there.
i think i might head up there today and pay for it and talk the guy into putting my copy aside so i get it for sure monday.

I remember the little mini booklet that came with the bonus disc said that you could pick the game up on the 24th. But I have this gut feeling I'm gonna have to wait until Tuesday or Wednesday.

I called my EB this morning and they said monday or tuesday. I live in Utah so it will probably come tomarro night while im doing driving range.

According to Electronics Boutique, Wind Waker ships the 24th meaning they'll have it the 25th, Tuesday.

Historically, the ship date is the advertised date. So, in this case it would ship on the 24th and be available at game-specific stores on the 25th and Best Buy types of stores on the 26th. But, there are certain times, like when a big system is released or a big game like Zelda, when they get the games up to a week ahead of the scheduled release. It wouldn't surprise me if most of the EB's and Gamestops have had the games sitting in their back rooms since last week Monday. Heck, I remember when the PS1 came out, I worked at EB, and we all took our PS1's home as soon as we got them in the store....a full two weeks prior to release. Good times, man. Working for a videogame store is awesome.

In short, they just might have the game in store tomorrow. We'll see.

Funco did call early today. Only to tell me I have to wait until Tuesday to get the game! Guess their opening early to take care of all us Zelda fans. I thought Nintendo would be shipping this weekend to be ready for the release on Monday. Guess not. Man, I can't wait till Tuesday, this has been a long time coming, considering my copy has been reserved since June of 2002 !!

I can tell you guys that our Gamestop will be getting Zelda Monday night. Our manager is physically driving to the airport to pickup the shipment. We should have it about 6:30 or 7:00 pm. Obviously this will vary from store to store.

I didn't even get my bonus disc when I pre-ordered. The guy at Babbage's had no F-in clue what I was talking about. lol He's like uhhhh well if it's coming with it, then you'll get it when the game comes out. So much for pre-ordering early, huh? And yeah, the Babbage's here is just like the others, I'll be waitin till tomorrow (Tue) the 25th for mine. Oh well, I woke up late today anyway, plus the guy said they tried to call but couldn't get through, so I'll have to wait till tomorrow.

well, i was dumb and didnt reserve a while ago. So i called gamestop, and said they would be getting 16 extra tonight, so i slapped down a fiver and reserved a copy for tomorrow morning!!! I am so damn excited!!!

Well my store (Gamestop) had a little party tonite for the big release. Our manager didn't get back with the shipment until like 7:30 pm, almost 2 hours later than we had told our pre-order customers (doh!) but it was still a good time. We had green and gold balloons and lots and lots of tasty snacks. I played some GBA with a couple of the customers when I wasn't bagging games and guides. All in all it was a pretty cool launch.

Went to my local Gamestop store today. They tell me they have no Zelda WW as the manager comes in with a huge box with "Legend of Zelda" stamped on the side. I hope for the stores sake these were copies of the "Link to the past" GBA game not WW. This store has had my 50 buck since June of 2002 for Christ sake. Come back tommorow they tell me. The real pisser is my cousin who reserved his copy of WW at EB games already has it!!!! In a fit of rage I expended all store credit I had on the spot, I want no more ties to Gamestop. Once I get WW it I'm off to EB games to reserve my copy of Splinter cell for GCN through them.

i was talking to the guys at work tonight, and our shipment is supposed to be drop shipped tomorrow morning. (Best Buy in Eau Claire, WI)
