Topic: Will Virtua Cop 3 Come to Wii?

Just wondering if anyone had any insight and if I was the only one who'd been living under a rock and didn't know about this game's existence. But it was a huge surprise to me nontheless when I played it in the arcade yesterday. I seriously hadn't ever heard of a Virtua Cop 3 and its been a dream of mine for years. Did I miss something. Oh and also, I got some hands on experience of House of the Dead 4. And compared to Virtua Cop 3. IT STINKS AND I HATE IT. LOL. I'll go more into why in a later post. I'm posting this from my Wii since my laptops in for repair and the Virtual keyboard is MURDER! Everyone get back to me soon. Seriously I saw the cabinet and had to a mental check like 5 times to make sure what I was seein' lol.

These light-gun games should have been out AGES ago. But everyone's dragging their butts. Sure, Sega's giving us Ghost Squad (the spiritual successor to Virtua Cop), but it's nowhere in sight right now when it should've been mad easy to cheaply port. We should have had these games by now!!!

AND, now Time Crisis IV is going to the PS3 and XBox 360 with... ~TADAAA... a guncon accessory again! They're going to make people pay MORE MONEY when they could just RETIOOL< the darhthi9ng ti dwork inn  the friggin WIIKMOTE<DLSKDAL

Kairon's anger is warranted because the #1 friggin' reason lightgun games sell so poorly (or don't sell better) is because you generally need to purchase an additional piece of hardware to play them in the manner they're meant to be played.

The Wii bypasses this need with the Wiimote, meaning that the genre should easily appeal to far more people because it doesn't require any additional purchases.

So yeah, the Wii should be the OBVIOUS choice for LG games.

Well, that's why we are getting Ghost Squad and Umbrella Chronicles...I guess Sega is using Ghost Squad as the "reason" why they are making Virtua Cop for PS3...Not very nice of them, eh? =)

The reason I asked about VC3 Is coz there is like "NO" coverage of it on the web that I could find. Screenshots, and I never saw it on Sega's page. Its way better than hotd 4 so I hope we get Virtua cop 3 long before hotd 4. Unfortunately I didn't get to play Ghost Squad. Wish I had. Looked to use a sub machine gun. Wonder how that would work with the wii mote. In terms of what they might release along side to play it for arcade experience.

Yeah I woulda thought lightgun games and ports from the arcade would be coming out like crazy for the Wii.

I agree 3rd parties are very dumb.
